My sister passed away in June. I went to the T-Mobile store to cancel her service and they told us we had to go to call Customer Service. After spending an hour on the phone trying to talk to a manager Customer Service told us we had to go back to a local store.. they told us they couldn't do anything on the account until we verified a pin via text. The phone has been dead and not used since June 5. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don't blame the local store as much as I do corporate headquarters.. they make it impossible to cancel service even though we had all of the valid information, including a death certificate. Do not use T-Mobile. read more

It's still a very good phone service that works well but that doesn't justify the prices. These little stores as usual have overpriced trinkets and gadgets and accessories but sometimes you just need one and sometimes you need to make sure that it's the right thing, the real deal and if that's the case then this is a good place to come and it's very conveniently located at one of my favourite truck stops right on the indiana-michigan border when you're heading from Chicago or Gary or South Bend towards Grand Rapids and Battle Creek and Detroit and all that crap.
