The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. I was told it would be ready the next day. The next day came, and it wasn't ready. A week later, it still wasn't ready. Then I was informed that while repairing my laptop, they accidentally damaged the keyboard. They admitted it was their mistake and told me they would replace it at no cost. From that point on, the communication was terrible. I called week after week for updates. Many times my calls went unanswered, and I had to physically go to the store just to get information because no one would respond to me. It has now been six months, and I still do not have my laptop. I was told the store was robbed and that I would need to file a claim through their insurance. They provided me with a phone number, but they have refused to provide the insurance company name or the claim number. My daily texts asking for this information have been ignored. What started as a one-day battery replacement has turned into a six-month nightmare. Poor communication, damaged property, ignored calls and messages, and absolutely no accountability. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I would strongly recommend taking your computer somewhere else.

Unfortunately, as soon as you buy the product, all of the nice guy BS goes out the window. Can you blame them? My answer is yes. I will explain why in a second. But most will argue that they are in a competitive retail market of high-end, premium electronic products, and they have to make money somehow. Though that is true, unfortunately, it comes at a very high cost to you and leads to very sketchy and unethical practices. Here is my reasoning behind giving them a one star. I went to upgrade my 2016 15" 256G MacBook Pro. There's nothing wrong with my laptop, but I use my MacBook heavily for work. I wanted more storage and a little more power with a boost to GPU and CPU processing. I got that and the associate at the store was very helpful. I was torn between 500g SSD and 1T SSD. Including my laptop credit, I had enough for the 500g SSD storage drive. The salesman impressed me with his knowledge. He was kind, seemed genuine and convinced me that I was getting the best deal out there. At the time, I was happy with my purchase. After doing a bit more research, I found out that I got politely robbed. With a student or military discount, including a credit for my laptop, I could've gotten a brand new 1T SSD 16" laptop for the same price I paid for the used 500g laptop. With that revelation, I went to return the laptop. I mean, I was within the limit of their 14 day return policy. Unfortunately, they do not tell their customers that there's a huge penalty for returning the product, restocking fees, and only send a check after like 30 days. Complete robbery. Great, clean store with very kind employees. Do not let that fool you. Stay away from that place. You will get a better deal at Bestbuy or Apple.
