I've been to T-Mobile Park (Safeco Field) probably 100 times and I've never once had a negative experience at the ballpark. I haven't toured every ballpark in the country, but I have hard time believing there's a better place to enjoy baseball. I most recently visited the park to attend the All Star Game, and before that a firework night, and both were picturesque days to not just enjoy baseball, but the stadium itself. Aside from the seating, viewpoints of Seattle from the corridor or 300 level, what I appreciate about T-Mobile Park (... Safeco Field ...) is that it continually pushes the envelope to try and provide great services, amenities and offerings to fans, to make the trip to the stadium a complete experience. Is it expensive? Yes... is it always worth it? Probably not... is the experience great? If you don't include the outcome of the game in your experience, then yes. There are number of diverse eating and drinking options throughout the concourse, great viewpoints for both seating and standing-room-only to give great vantage points to watch the game, and a nice atmosphere provided by the beautiful stadium and backdrop of Seattle in the background. It's probably the best venue to watch a sporting event at in the PNW, with Lumen Field (Seahawks Stadium) a close second. read more

Ballparks always feel very overwhelming and daunting to me, but not T-Mobile Park. Everything is easy to find, the bathrooms are clean, and the food options are abundant (overpriced as expected, but abundant). As everyone already knows, this is the retractable roof stadium. Nice. I don't watch ball games much, but I do go to the ball parks for concert. During this visit in September, it was one of the first concerts after large gatherings are allowed again - the Hella Mega Tour featuring Weezer, Fall Out Boys, and Green Day. What a heck of a way to have a concert again! Booyah! Parking options are plentiful, from the adjacent lot, the lot at Lumen Field, to nearby small lots. We typically park much farther (free street parking on a Sunday) and just have a nice walk. read more

This ballpark is super cool. There is a super good environment with plenty around the park. There is good food and drink options everywhere you go. The field is also visible while walking around the park so you never miss the action. The ballpark can be covered or have an open roof. Both are a super cool experience. The ballpark fills out pretty well making the experience even better. I highly recommend going to a game if you haven't already. read more

Honestly cant say anything bad about this place. Not from Seattle and not a Mariners fan but dam. Food options AMAZING- But I do not understand why I continually get Din Tai Fung at ballparks. Its not the greatest. My husband got a poke bowl and loved it. I love that the owner ship is aware of having a food value menu, that's awesome for families / Kids that are picky eaters. The view was awesome from the top, the transit in SEATTLE is the best on the West Coast!! Only downside is the Seattle weather is so weird. After many years of being on my list of ballparks to visit, finally made it to this beautiful field and stadium. Beautiful views of Seattle, Elliot bay, and the ballpark throughout, I didn't see a bad seat in the park. Even with the long lines to get into this sold out game, security was fast and friendly and went smoothly, the ushers throughout were sone of the most friendly and helpful as well, adding to a fun experience. Concession stands were friendly, fast, and expressive, but I've come up expect it, they sorta have a monopoly, since you can't bring anything in. The seats were in upper decks outfield Along the first base line, easy to exit, plenty of concession stands and restrooms close by. Also lots of restaurants and food stands on Steelehead alley and between T-mobile and Lumien field, so you could get plenty of eat or drink before entering as well. Love going to baseball games, so much more fun in person, being a Mariners and Giants fan it was a lot of fun banter with the many dodger fans at the game, good fun, especially with the dodgers winning... oh well.. next time! Exiting at game end was easy as well. Tickets are fairly priced compared to other ballparks I've been to, especially with good viewing throughout. My only gripe, and I've definitely learned my lesson in downtown Seattle, pay for secured parking ( maybe still have an issue) but using one of the insecure parking garages will get you a busted window or more, it's worth paying extra to get a secure spot or Lift. Most the places around the stadium are packed afterwards, but a short walk to pioneer district has plenty of places and easier access to a Lift, plenty of police presence near the stadium to feel somewhat secure. Go to a few games a year, sitting in various sections (high and low) and all the seats are good for seeing the action on the field. The food choices in the past few years has improved, but prices are stiff. I prefer the hot dogs outside the stadium north by Lumen Field. I always take public transportation to the game as it looks like a real drag trying to get out of the parking lots while dodging all the pedestrians. Lots of SPD around to make as smooth as possible. Agree with what someone said about waiting for breaks in the action to go to and from your seat. Ushers used to hold people, but that seems to have stopped post pandemic. Really good park. Now if the team could just be really good and stay that way. read more

I had the unfortunate misfortune of realizing I bought 5 tickets for the wrong day as I'm scanning our tickets to get into the stadium. We drove 4 hours and got a hotel room nearby to go to this game. The employees were all absolutely amazing and made things happen for me to be able to still get tickets for the game we showed up for, and gave me a number to call the next morning to hopefully get my tickets for the wrong date refunded. It was all complicated by the fact that I bought tickets through a group buy. But they were all amazing at helping and being super nice about the situation that I was in! I would say the only thing I did not like about the stadium was the security. My purse was in measurement (but had decorative fringe that extended longer than the allowed measurement) and they tried to not let me take it in. Once I did declare that the only things in it were needed medications they did do wonderful in tagging it as an allowed purse and let me in. But it was stressful after already having to figure out all new tickets just prior! It was a wonderful game, and a wonderful experience once they got me all sorted with correct tickets for my mistake! read more

Baseball is one of the funniest sporting events to attend, particularly because it happens in the summer, with stadiums taking advantage of prime weather. You can enjoy sports and the open air at the same time. The best stadiums also include views of the cityscape and nature, with Guaranteed Rate field in Chicago offering great views of the Chicago skyline and the Colorado Rockies park providing views of the actual Rocky Mountains while you watch the Rockies baseball team. The Mariners do not take full advantage of their skyline or the Puget Sound, but it is a great facility to watch a game. One note about noise levels at the game. Our seats were on the third base line in a row far enough up that we were under the overhang, but also underneath the speakers. Before the game, there was not a minute without dance music. It was as if the Mariners had hired a club DJ for their music choices. He certainly did not understand that one of the joys of baseball is a little piece and quiet where you can talk with your wife while the players are warming up instead of having to yell into her ear. I suppose it would be a good spot if you did not want to talk to the person next to you. But, overall it was a great time and I look forward to going to another game. read more

Attended a Mariners game and had the best time! I usually go to Chicago Cubs games at Wrigley, and came to a Mariners game on vacation, but it was a great game with a great atmosphere! I really enjoyed that there were lots of food options in the different levels. It was nice to try out since I'm just used to Chicago dogs and margaritas at baseball games. I tried the pork katsu curry, which is so cool to have at a ball game! The stadium is way bigger than I had imagined and all the fans were so energetic! If it's your first time, I'd definitely recommend finding a parking spot on the app, Spot Hero. I was able to snag a parking spot close to the stadium without having to worry about limited parking availability. I would also recommend showing up early since the stadium is huge, if you go through the wrong entrance you might have to make a lap around the stadium, not fun if it's really crowded. Dodge the raindrops or if you're lucky enough to catch a clear night, there's close to none better than catching the Mariners on a midsummer's night. Easy parking factor: You'll walk a little, but you'll also only pay a little, unless you need to park next door. If you're staying downtown the stadium is a decent walk from most places as well. Cheap ticket factor: spend under $20 for decent seats in most instances, unless you're one of those who just has to be field-level. Aftermarket sites will only help drive that price down. Welcoming factor: Laid-back vibe in Seattle, and the fan has been king since the days of the Kingdome. Food factor: The high-rollers are feasting on Din Tai Fung, Li'l Woody's and Paseo, while the rest of us will skip the $5.50 water and hit up the Mariners Deal of the Day and Beer Value Sections (yes they exist). Lots to enjoy right near the park too. Move freely about the cabin factor: So many places to view the skyline and be closer to the action in this park. Be sure to cruise all levels in outfield and watch some pitches in the vestibule behind the plate. Little kid souvenir factor: We missed visitor BP due to traffic but the fan electricity will make it memorable for kids of any age. I decided to surprise my husband with Mariners tickets while we were in town visiting. It just so happened to be Ichiro Firework night, which was an added bonus to heading to the stadium. Upon walking into the stadium, it was a very smooth process. We had no issues going through security or heading up toward our seats. One big thing that was really anxiety-filled was the amount of people going everyone once you entered the concourse. I was severely overwhelmed and agitated. The other thing that I was really frustrated with was how long every single line was and how none of the concessions offered hot dogs. We walked almost 1/2 the stadium with no hot dog choices! WHAT! & when we got the hot dog, it wasn't even that good. Maybe I'm picky because I'm from Chicago, but still. was disappointed. We headed to our seats, which definitely turned the event around. We sat down, extremely snug with the people around us. So snug in fact that we literally could smell the unknown person next to me's armpits. gross. We had an amazing time at the game, but there were some obvious things that would have been more enjoyable. Now, we just laugh about the mishaps, but definitely had a blast with the game going into extra innings & the fireworks after. read more

Another great American ballpark!!! I've been to about seventeen around the country. T-Mobile is a great place to catch a game. Like most of the modern stadiums, there isn't a bad seat in the place. I remember watching the Yankees and Mariners (80's - 90's) on tv when they played in the Kingdome. I couldn't imagine playing or watching a game in that place with the astro turf, lousy lighting and the football stands rolled up behind the right field wall. Like I said, T-Mobile is an awesome facility. It has a retractable roof which is a necessity in Seattle. It's family friendly with activities for the younger fans prior to the game and during if they get bored (believe me they do). The vending and food options are top notch!!! They are famous for their fries and........grasshoppers. Yep, grasshoppers. I was going to try them but there are two spots to get them. One is in the 200 section which is were the luxury suites are. The other is out by the left field stands. We were in the upper deck behind home plate so, I didn't get there. I went with the Ahi-Tuna Poke Bowl (see photo). It was delicious and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. On this visit the Mariners we're playing the Toronto Blue Jays. There were LOTS of Blue Jays fans in the stands. From my estimation at least half the crowd in attendance were Toronto fans. And, I didn't see one fight after the Jays lost. I can't say that for a Met or Yankee game lol. I always enjoy myself at a Mariners game. I especially enjoy Bark at the Park! It is such a unique event. They set up the stadium to be super dog friendly and invite local shelters to try and get pups adopted. We came to a game on a park. We were in the city to see the NJ Devils play the Kraken and decided why not, it's the home opener. We used the light rail which is super easy, but it's a good walk. You go around and up and it feels like forever. The place was mobbed this night so we didn't have a chance to really just walk around and get lost. They have a bunch of awesome food options and a lot of good beer places. The seats are easy to find, no problems at all. Great views from pretty much anywhere. I've heard it was just because the game was against Houston, but the fans were rabid. Gave Philly a bit of a run for the money. read more

If you've never been to a major league baseball game, then I would highly recommend visiting T-Mobile Park for your first time. Centrally located to the heart of Seattle, and super easy to get to by Uber, Lyft or public transport, or even a relatively easy walk from downtown, although it is Seattle, and the likelihood of rain is very high. Numerous eateries, restrooms and beer outlets make this park and excellent for baseball fans, non-fans and families enjoying an evening out. I'll start this review by letting the readers know I absolutely love baseball. Growing up in Cleveland during the 90's, there's some prime baseball history with the Mariners from that time. Both teams were absolutely overflowing with talent. Of course, Seattle has a new park to play in since the ancient days of the Kingdome. I've been to many MLB stadiums over the years, and T-Mobile ranks near the top by more than one criteria. GETTING THERE Stadiums situated within the city proper always gain points, and T-Mobile park is no exception. This park is easily accessed by light rail, scooter, or cab. Parking is available within a few blocks for relatively cheap prices. INSIDE Now, the fun begins. Seattle offers great prices on unique concessions, with a huge selection of snacks, treats, and drinks for everyone to choose from. There are $5/$6 beers situated throughout, and the food options are much more appealing and diverse than your standard and generic Aramark offerings. The sight lines are quality, with great views of Downtown Seattle from along the first base line. One additional unique perspective that brings this park personality is in the concourses immediately outside the bullpen. Watch pitchers warm up from a few feet away. That's not available with other teams! I suppose my only complaint is how a significant portion of the right field deck is reserved for private parties. The public is a good 30 feet back from the rail. For the game I was at (versus the Yankees that went deep into extra innings), this section was completely blocked off and empty as the entire party had left, yet still closed to the public. Realistically speaking this section could be half the size and still accomplish the goal ownership is trying to achieve. I look forward to attending more games while I live in Seattle! read more

Having only been to this stadium for Enchamt Mischievous (December 2019), I can only speak to the stadium in this "light". It's large. Huge. Bus accessible, but full and expansive, occasionally needing to walk for several long blocks to find the entrance. Security everywhere. Nice security folks. Lines galore. But quick moving lines. The retractable roof is quite awesome; making events easier to swallow in all types of weather. People are actually nice to be around for a change. I was deep in baseball strategy with a gentleman next to me. Never got his name and didn't need to. Just two baseball fans jaw-jacking about the game we love. One star off for the parking situation in the Mariner garage. A total snarl of cars from every direction. Three of us take a road trip every summer to watch the Oakland A's play a series. This year we went to Seattle to catch the Mariners play a three game series against the A's. The stadium is very nice and I like the "open air" concept. Two of the games had the roof open and the one that didn't still had a nice breeze coming through the stadium. Very friendly people at the games (we were always decked out in our A's gear) who frequently mentioned that they shared our pain with the current state of affairs going on in Oakland! Lots of good food selections at the stadium, but I still find it amazing that there was a two hour wait to get pizza! NO pizza is that good. We sat in the third deck and the view was nice. Two nights had flex pricing, so our tickets were only $10. The third game had "sold out" on most of the cheaper sections, so we had to pay $30 for that game's seats. Much to our surprise the areas listed as being sold out at the ticket window were nearly empty. We couldn't figure that one out. Anyway T-Mobile park is one of the nicer parks I've been to. I'd rank it behind places like Wrigley, Fenway, and Petco, but for a "modern park" it ranks pretty high. Ushers were very nice and food was reasonably priced. read more

Section 183, Row 1, right above the bull pen! First time here, my 11th of the 30 MLB stadiums and it was really nice but cold! OMG it's like it's but answer or the end of June here and of course it got colder as the game went in. The roof is retractable but was closed due to rain but the stadium is not completely closed to the outside. I walked around the entire main floor to see their food options. I settled on holy bbq smokes and I must say that I wasted $22 but it's but it's my own fault even though they sign was misleading. I thought I was getting a pulled pork sandwich but apparently it was a platter with pork, not so macaroni and cheese (flavorless and cheeseless) with two pieces of cornbread. It was not a sandwich or anything like it but I ate every bite because I'm not wasteful. Except the coleslaw because ew. I also had some garlic fries but I definitely didn't finish them, it was massive. The hall of Fame was nice but Ken Griffeys TV was but working. Lastly, as I said, our seats were pretty dope and this stadium was lovely. read more

Have been to a Mariners game three times since June and really enjoy T-Mobile Park! I take the link to the stadium and it's so easy! I paid $20 my second time and third time went to Girls Night ($40 for ticket, a hat and free drink- not bad at all)! I love how many food options there are. I've tried the grab sandwich and it was good-just wish it was a bit warmer. Can't go wrong with garlic fries and a beer! I was in town when the Angels were in town to play the Mariners. Angels won! This is a pretty nice ballpark to walk around. There are lots of nice views of the city and water area. Pro tip, go out and check the sunset during the game outside, such a pretty view! read more

T-Mobile Park is a great stadium to catch a baseball game, but be warned that early Spring games can be cold and windy. I went to a game in April and had to bundle up in a jacket and hat. But once the sun came out, it was a lot more comfortable. The park itself is very nice and clean. The seats are comfortable and there are plenty of concession stands. The food is a bit expensive, but it's to be expected at a sporting event. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We came for a evening Mariners game, the weather was great. The stadium had a great atmosphere, the roof was open. I like the openness of the stadium, we were sat in section 137. Transport is very easy from downtown, we took the light rail. Food options seemed decent, we tried Ballard Pizza and the brats place, they even have poke here. I like that they had value beers you could get select craft cans for $6 and select domestic for $5 - though the cart wasn't too easy to find. As it's T-Mobile, there was plenty of charging stations to charge your devices. I'd come back to this stadium and recommend to others. read more

2021 is turning out to be as weird as 2020 in terms of the pandemic... but in a good way imho as far as T-Mobile Park goes. Indeed, there has never been a better time to go to a Mariners game, especially if you are an introvert who dislikes crowds. The socially distanced seating is fantastic for having space all around you. There is nobody to accidentally hit you in the head with a shoe or a stray hand. There are no kids kicking your seat. There is a greater chance of catching a foul ball without as much competition around you. There are short waits for the concessions stands. There is NO wait for a ladies' restroom stall (GASP!). And, if you'd like to get vaccinated, there are stations coordinated by T-Mobile, the City of Seattle, and Virginia Mason / Franciscan. ((Pause here while I applaud a very good thing.)) There are dedicated sections and incentives for vaccinated fans. Tonight there were drawings for sweet rewards in the vaccinated sections. Someone won a 5G phone from T-Mobile with a year's free service. Someone else won an X-Box. There's a long list of gifts you can win, including round-trip air travel on Alaska Airlines. Of course, there are some drawbacks to baseball in Pandemic 2.0. We were turned away because our bags were too big. (I believe the acceptable size is currently 4"x6"). ****Note! Just looked it up: "Due to COVID-19 restrictions, guests are not allowed to bring bags of any size into the ballpark. The only exception is for a small clutch sized purse (not to exceed 4 1/2 x 6 1/2"). Diaper bags, accompanied by children, will be permitted as long as they are single compartment and 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller."*** Another "con" is that there is a limited amount of swag for the giveaways. If you want your tote, bobble head, or hat-beard, make sure you get there EARLY because they are only producing 5,000 of them due to limited attendance. Another big "con" is weak crowd enthusiasm. Maybe it was because it was raining and the roof was up after a week of gorgeous weather, but the crowd was too sparse to make any good amount of noise. (It could have also been that we were losing to a team with a horrible record, but c'mon. What kind of Mariners fan are you if you expect them to win all the time?) My theory is that people don't mind screaming their heads off anonymously in a crowded section, but when exposed by empty seats on all sides, their rowdiness evaporates. It was super disappointing and not as much fun to be the only ones in our section supporting our guys as they struck someone out or came up to bat. Despite the slight negatives, this Mariners fan will be back again. This season is unique in many ways, and I'd like to enjoy it as much as possible before we return to our new normal. read more

I've been a fan of live baseball since childhood. I'm a Cubs fan that lives in Seattle but I'll take whatever baseball I can get. TMobile park is a really great place to watch. Gorgeous view from the field, good seats all around, and some excellent deals on cheap ticket nights etc. We recently went with friends on a $10 ticket night, enjoyed some delicious food, and had some local beers. Bottom line: this stadium is great and perfect to host America's past time. At capacity, this place can get a bit crowded, which means you'll be waiting for a bit on bathrooms and to get food. Pro-tip: try to go to baseball game nights that have fireworks! Venue: it's relatively large and has multiple floors. There is a garage attached to this venue on the fourth floor but you need to have club tickets to be able to enter the floor. Outside this venue, the Seattle police have it locked down to a science in order to get the traffic through. Traffic is still relatively slow but at least it moves methodically. Food: there are lots of places to get some bites here. You can still get your peanuts and cracker jacks but now they have other culinary delights like sushi, Chinese food, brats, burgers, and more. I think I prefer the name Safeco Field more than T-Mobile Park but different name same game. Either way it was my first time going to a Mariners game and it was super fun! There's just something about garlic fries ($8.50) at a baseball game. I've had them at Giants games and they were delicious and the ones at Mariners games are no different. Their beers are a bit more expensive than at a typical bar but that's what you expect at any sports game. I had a 24oz beer for $13.50. They even have a retractable roof for those rainy Seattle days. It started to sprinkle during the game and the roof came on almost instantly. By the way, I ALMOST GOT A BALL. A pop up went above my head and then I turned around and it rolled right in front of me. But considering the premium we paid for seats on Club Level, I expected a lot more from that section. Club Level at Oracle Park (where the Giants play) is amazing. There's a large display of memorabilia in the hall behind the announcers' booths and a huge selection of food to choose from. Back in the day, there were several options that were only available on Club Level. That has since changed, but the wide variety is still there. At T-Mobile, the seats were cushioned and comfy, but that was about it. The only food on Club Level was pizza, chicken fingers, hot dogs, and basic ballpark snacks. We had hot dogs, chicken fingers, and garlic fries, and everything tasted like and had the texture of food that had been cooked several hours earlier and had just been sitting there all day. I get that things are prepared en masse and not to-order, but it was all limp and cold and just really terrible. Like the food at the Coliseum in Oakland is better and that place is a literal shithole (seriously--one season the plumbing backed up and flooded the visitors' dugout). I'd definitely recommend visiting the park for a game, just not wasting your money on Club Level. read more

Easy to get to by the train. Plenty of places to eat in and around this park. We went for a baseball game and were able to bring our unopened water in and food, which was really nice. Definitely go again. read more

Beautiful stadium! I only wish they showed the game on the big screen because I couldn't tell if someone hit a Home run if it was directly in front of us low. I couldn't tell if the home team was applauding a catch or if the away fans were celebrating a home run. It took about five seconds to figure it out, but it feels better to know in real time. read more
