I have never experienced customer service this incompetent and financially reckless in my life. In early November, I accidentally damaged my phone. I pay every month for device protection through T-Mobile, administered by T-Mobile and their third-party insurance provider Assurant, specifically for situations like this. What followed was a two-month nightmare of errors, contradictions, and a completely unjustified withdrawal of over $1,000 from my bank account. I filed a claim on November 9. I was told to drive to a repair location in Edmonds, only to be informed after I arrived that the repair couldn't be completed due to a clerical error on Assurant's end. No apology. No solution. Just sent home with a broken phone. Then I was told a replacement would be mailed to me. The first replacement arrived -- with a cracked screen. Yes, they sent me a damaged replacement. I had to call again, repackage it, return it, and push for expedited shipping because I actually need a working phone to function. They finally overnighted a second replacement, which thankfully worked. I transferred my data and personally handed my original damaged phone, properly packaged, to a USPS employee using their provided return label. I thought the ordeal was over. Then, without warning, without notification, without a single email, call, or letter, T-Mobile withdrew over $1,000 directly from my bank account because Assurant claimed they hadn't received my returned phone. When I called, a T-Mobile rep stayed on the line while Assurant investigated. After initially trying to gaslight me/suggest my claim number was wrong (it wasn't), the Assurant representative came back from a VERY long hold and admitted they had in fact received my device on December 17. The T-Mobile rep acknowledged the charge appeared improper. So let me be clear: they had the phone. They knew they had the phone. And they still pulled over $1,000 from my account. No notice. No attempt to contact me. Just took the money. Since then, I have yet to be refunded. I have called four separate times and spoken to four different supervisors at T-Mobile. Each one has given me slightly different information. Multiple supervisors promised I would be refunded within one to two days. That did not happen. Now I'm being told I may have to wait one to two billing cycles to get my own money back. Meanwhile, that unauthorized withdrawal disrupted other automatic payments tied to my account, creating additional financial stress. I upheld my end of the insurance agreement completely. Assurant confirmed receipt of the returned device. Yet I'm still chasing a refund for money that never should have been taken in the first place. The level of disorganization between T-Mobile and Assurant is staggering. Customers are left paying the price for their internal errors. If you're considering device protection through T-Mobile, understand that when something goes wrong, you may end up fighting for your own money -- even after doing everything correctly. Not only did they 1) steal the phone i traded in and sent in the wrong phone to tmobile, I 2) got scammed and had to end up paying full price for the phone I traded in for. I attempted to get support for this from other stores (told me i got scammed and had to get it situated by the store i did the trade in at) and multiple different staff at this store and no one helped me. I've been a several year customer and had relatively good service until I made a payment arrangement...they pulled the payment from my account(have proof of it in my bank statement) and then they said they never got it.. it's an automatic payment... when I was finally able to talk to a representative(and assured that they wouldn't interrupt the service)about it they put it under investigation and then shut off our phones...they are just stealing their customers money and I will be ending my service ASAP... I'm so sorry that I went in here. to say that the store manager was rude and dismissive does not even cover it. I want to purchase two of the Apple Watches, series 6. First I asked if I could try them on and he gave me a curt "no, you can't try anything on". OK, that's the rule during Covid, I get it. but there are about 100 nicer ways to say it Then he asked me why I wanted the Apple Watch 6 versus SE and asked me if I knew the difference. I said yes I know the difference. He then went on to mansplain the difference to me anyways, even though I had just clearly stated that I knew the difference. at this point I told him very clearly, again, after he pushed back *again* on my purchase decision, that I really just wanted to get a feel for their size. He asked which one I currently had and I said I could not remember so he started looking it up on my account. I gave him my phone number and showed him my ID and then he said he could not look up my account because my ID did not match the information, which is crazy because I was in that store recently to add a line and had no problem, and I clearly have a valid drivers license and account. We had a great experience here on President's Day (02/21/22) with Shane, the store manager. He was patient and friendly, and walked us through the various plans and promotions for changing both of our lines from Verizon to T-Mobile. We are trying to save money right now and we never felt that Shane was trying to push something on us that didn't fit our needs. He took good care of us and even checked to see that our address was eligible for the T-Mobile internet when we said we were interested. During our visit there, several other customers came in who were rude or impatient, but Shane and Sharles (the other employee working) were both super professional. Usually I don't write too much reviews but would like to commend this store for its quick service, knowledge, friendliness, and especially for the help I received from Caz and Shane. The first store I went to (at a different location) left me heavily frustrated, unimpressed and ultimately did not accomplish anything after being in the store for nearly 2 hours. This was the second T-Mobile store I visited and have nothing but good things to say. I walked into the store and Caz and Shane were quick to find the issue (within 5 minutes!!), get everything fixed and get my phone all set up. They were so kind, KNOWLEDGEABLE on their services, plans and devices and were so willing to answer any questions that were left unanswered or I had come up with. As a new customer, I was not impressed on the other store visit but my visit to this store was a total opposite experience (night and day)!! I will definitely go there if I need anything else. I wrote a raving review for this store last month. I'm here to retract it. I've been coming here since last Sept trying to get my non-account fixed. In Sept I was moving from PCS to T-Mobile. Got the info from PCS and brought it to tmobile. Was told I wasn't given all the info and I had to go back to PCS. Went back to PCS and was told they couldn't help cuz the lines were already ported. Go back to tmobile. We t back spoke with Jose. He called PCS and was told they couldn't help. They already ported to #s. He called and canceled the port. ​he took my 2 brand new phones not even opened and charged me $86 to return them. He also charged me $80 to move to tmobile before he canceled the port. Now I'm trying to get both charges adjusted since I NEVER EVER had even 1 minute of tmobile service. In the mean time I received an $87 bill from tmobile. Jose agreed to try to get the charges adjusted off. He got the $87 false charges adjusted. The $80 port charge and the $86 restocking fee are still there. 2-3 times a month I have went back to tmobile disputing these charges. Jose kept calling customer service for me and they kept saying they would adjust the charges and they would call me back. The day after they were supposed to call I we t back in. There were never any notes on my account. The last time we called I got on the phone and spoke with a manager. She said she would put a credit on my account and send me a check. She said call back tomorrow Dec 23rd to make sure the credit was done. I called back AGAIN, and again there were no notes on my account. This was my 7th time. 10 miles each time I had to go back. I give up. I am now disputing the charges thru my VISA company and contacting the BBB. I am being charged $166 for NEVER having tmobile service. Please, don't ever go through this company. Came in for a new iPhone as I had just gotten off work and the store by my house stays sold out of the gold Xs. Walked in and was greeted by Tre. Phenomenal experience. They were having some issues with the tablets they use and he called customer service to see if they could push it through. He eventually got it to work but didn't stop until he did, even gave me a box and bubble wrap for my trade in to send back! Highly recommend going to see Tre for any phone needs. read more

These 5 stars are for Jairo. That's what the survey gave me so I hope it's his name. I come here every two years usually to upgrade a phone or watch and never really have trouble but yesterday I tried to drop off my 2 phones for trade in but Jairo was helping another customer so I got fake English accent guy who told me I had to come back the next day and see the manager. It's not like this place is right around the corner but still I listened to the guy and came back today and got Jairo again. He said I did not need the manager and helped me pack and get my phones ready to ship with a ready printed label. I'm not sure they do this for everyone but he went the extra mile to help me out and I really appreciate it. I'm sure he'll be gone in a couple years when I upgrade again like most good employees and I will prolly end up with fake English accent guy again but I really hope Jairo is off to better things because he cares unlike most people. I worked in the service industry so I get it but is it really that hard to print out labels? I could've found my own boxes not to have to walk back there two days in a row. Words can not fully explain how well the gentleman at the T-Mobile in QueenAnne took care of me. After my sister bought the new iPhone 13 PRO, I searched everywhere to get one unsuccessfully. When I called the Queen-Anne location they let me know they still had one. I got there and first Impression was that they had great customer service. I was able to get exactly what I needed and wanted and more. I left thinking that it was more than great customer service it wimpression was that they had great customer service. Not sure what was worse, the young employee (high school/college) on his phone scrolling through a dating app while I literally stood next to him waiting for help or the manager taking the time to pet the dog inside the store. When we switched over from att in January this year we were assured a better deal. That's not at all what we got. We signed up with Sara and took hours with her in the store getting everything switched over. Received 2 "free" phones. We were happy until we found out that she has screwed up the deal. We ended up sending our old phones in to their corporate office as part of the deal and then found out that my husband phone didn't count so now T-Mobile received a free phone from us and we have to pay for the new "free" one for from T-Mobile. We kept being referred to T-Mobile's corporate number where they apparently couldn't help us and we had to go back to the store which sent us back to the corporate number. What a shit show. We give up but are pissed and will switch back to the much better att service when our contract is up. read more

Let me explain: I stepped foot into this T-Mobile store hoping to look at some screen protectors for my iPhone X. My phone was at 1% as thought I'd be able to get my phone charged as I shopped/looked around. I came into the store and was greeted by this white, female customer service representative. I noticed she seemed to be playing with a phone with what I assumed was another customer's phone who was also there. (just 3 of us, including myself inside the store). I asked I could charge my phone and she said no. I was startled as I have never had any T-mobile store say no to charging my phone while looking around. I asked "even if I'm shopping and I'm a T-Mobile Customer?" She then said, "Only for 2-5 minutes. That's it." Disgruntled by that response, I said "sure that's all I need." This disappointed me. The other customer chimed in and suggested I go to Starbucks where they would charge my phone. The customer service representative did nothing and just stood there looking/playing with the phone she had in hand and made no effort to help me to a phone charger. After a solid minute, I left with my phone not charged at all and no help looking for a screen protector. My phone battery then died as I walked out. I understand that customer service reps are human too. After all, I've been in customer service for over 15 years. But I was irate at the lack of empathy and little interest in helping me. No one deserves that. I couldn't help but think that this interaction with the customer service representative felt prejudice being a minority. I showed interest as a T-Mobile customer to look around yet she refused any help. This is upsetting and should definitely be looked into for opportunity in customer service improvement. I could go on with my overall satisfaction but I went ahead and went on T-Mobile website to share my experience to be proactive in better customer care. read more

Best T-Mobile store in Seattle -- hands down! Thomas the manager is amazing! Very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. I also love it when managers actually spend time on the floor and help out rather than hide in the back and associates have to leave the floor to ask questions. I also worked with Ross and Marlo who were both equally amazing. Well knowledgable and made every step of the process so smooth and painless. I needed to move off a corporate TMO account and set-up a 4/$40 personal account. My aunt and two cousins were then going to transfer off their pay-as-you-go TMO accounts onto this 4/$40 family plan. Ross helped me set-up the account in about 45 minutes (primarily due to slow computers, nothing due to needing a ton of information or a complex process) even though the other 3 people were not with me and I wasn't quite ready to transfer my work number due to emails. I was given SIM cards for the 4 lines that would be on the account and was told everyone could transfer their numbers onto this family plan whenever they were ready... It felt too easy and something was going to go wrong. Marlo helped transfer my aunt and two cousins' existing numbers to the new Family Plan that Ross had set-up for us. It took about 10 minutes each. Since they were transferring plans from TMO to TMO, their phones worked immediately. I then went in the following week and transferred my work number to the personal account. Mine took a little longer since Thomas had to call the 800 Number to pick-up my number once it had been released from my company, but again, nothing I needed to do (no calling my IT company which I had been told I needed to do at another TMO store)...he made it so simple. Something did happen where my text/data wasn't working once my number was switched to the personal line so the following morning I called the store to see what it might be. Marlo answered the phone and immediately knew what was wrong. He told me to call 611 and ask for a data code to be placed on my account. I did so and the woman on the phone was able to do take care of it in about a minute. My phone then worked perfectly! Again, all 3 guys were super great! Highly recommend this store and I've already told everyone at my office :) read more

I needed to add a line to my T-Mobile account, and decided to stop by this location (which I was excited to see one had opened in this part of town). The process (which cell phone stores always seem to have an interest on keeping you in the store as long as possible, so not a specific issue with this company or location) was going fairly smoothly, until I had a misunderstanding about how the JUMP coverage worked. Long story short, I thought someone was trying to pull a fast one, and was less kind than I should have been. Danny, in particular, did a good job of holding it together through that, took a phone call outside, and came back and did things the way we asked even though it wasn't what he recommended. The funny part is, I got home, did a bit of research, and realized I was actually wrong (much to my chagrin) and had to make the walk of shame back to have him fix it for me. He was super gracious about it, and nice while I profusely apologized for my hasty judgement, and got everything squared away. read more

Do not fall for the T-Mobile Internet SCAM. It is unstable and mainly worthless. I first purchased it for my Auburn, Washington home in May of 2022. It was unstable almost immediately but I spent hours on the phone with technical support and they did get it fairly stable. I left in September and was impressed enough to change out my carrier in my Palm Springs home. Big mistake. Not very stable at all but by the time I returned to my Auburn home I had spent 16 hours with technical support and when I left it appeared to be stabilizing. Friends went down in November to use my place and it embarrassed me to the maximum. Called technical support again and got it to work most of the time. By this time my patience had nearly ran out. I returned to my Palm Springs home on December 2nd only to be disappointed again. Spent about 8 hours with technical support and even returned the Gateway to the T-Mobile Store. In Palm Desert, Ca. and they at first proceeded to give me the runaround about returning the Gateway and expecting them to replace it Mario was an absolute no indicating since it was sent to me in the mail they were not obligated to replace it. The manager finally got involved and she arranged for the return. I took the unit home and proceeded to spend another 6 hours with tech support. The technician had no idea how to fix it and finally determined my location just did not fit well with the signal. (It is interesting the signal worked fantastic from 12 PM to 6AM and then disconnected.) The following day I reconnected with Spectrum and returned the T-Mobile Make Believe Gateway. When I left my internet connect was working near perfect. Bottom line is that you cannot depend on the Internet if you are getting the signal through the cellular network. Too many people using the system. I returned to my Auburn home and spent a day rebooting about 10 times before I made a call to Century link and end my experiment with T-Mobile Internet. Love the phone system and have been using it for years but the internet experiment is over. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Respectfully Submitted, Jim Price read more

Hostile customer service, I wanted a prepaid SIM for my out of country relative. The service representative, Javier, used a SIM to test it on my relative's phone, the test SIM worked so Javier proceeded putting a new SIM into the phone but had me pay for the new SIM first since the test SIM worked on the phone. The new plan was for unlimited call and text and 10GB of data at 4G LTE. After putting in the new SIM the data speeds did not exceed 25KBps, Javier "tried" and failed to resolve this issue and said that there is nothing more he can do and that "it is my responsibility to check whether the SIM worked with the phone before buying it and that no one forced me to buy the SIM". I asked Javier if there is anything they can do to return the SIM, after making a snide remark about me to not get impatient he called his manager who declined to refund the SIM as well. I understand that their is a policy for refunds but I have never seen such an apathetic attitude towards one's own customer. I hope T-Mobile takes note of this situation and trains their employees to be less aggressive and more empathic to their customers. read more

The sales person sold me an international plan for $90 - he reiterated that it included data etc. Anyway when I got to Australia, there was no service and t-mobile confirmed the plan what not what I was sold. Anyway, I had yo escalate to at the executive level at the company yo get my money back. The sales people here don't always know what they are doing. read more

You are probably better off dealing with T-Mobile online than at this store, though it could be that my most negative reaction is to one staff member who was less than helpful. After visiting this store in early July 2018, I returned because I had been invited to have them help me with processing the rebate for transferring from another carrier once I received my final bill from the prior carrier. When I returned with my final bill, Scotty was less than enthusiastic about helping me. And when I asked him if there ever was a problem with rebate processing he insisted that this never happens. Sure enough, within ten minutes I received a voicemail message from T-Mobile saying that the rebate processing had failed. I called T-Mobile, I received a recorded message saying to simply wait eight weeks for processing to be complete. I suspected that this was an error, but when I returned to the store, Scotty insisted that everything would be fine. I left the store frustrated and after returning home and after some searching on the Internet figured out how to contact T-Mobile by telephone. And it turned out that there indeed was a problem that took 24 minutes to resolve over the telephone. After speaking with several friends who have also received indifferent treatment at this and other T-Mobile stores, I am convinced that you are better off dealing with this company via their website and telephone rather than going to the stores where staff turnover is high. read more

I am giving this store 1-star because I was lied to by the store representative regarding an upgrade fee. When upgrading phones in this store I noticed a $20 Upgrade Support Charge in the total due. When I asked about, I was told that the charge was required for upgrade support because i didnt have the Jump or similar upgrade plan. I asked the representative if I would be charged the same fee if i did the upgrade online. He said yes. I asked again, and asked if he was sure, because i did not recall seeing it when i was price shopping online earlier that week. Again, he said yes. So i paid it. Now, the next day, doing my research i should have done earlier, i see that the charge is specific to customers who upgrade in store, and the fee is NOT charged if customers choose a "self-serve" option for an upgrade, such as online through their website. The store representative either directly lied to my face, or he was ignorant to the fees on the products he is representing. Either way, its no a store i want to do business with again. read more
