The office was closed, my calls went unanswered, and I was finally texted a generic excuse changing my window to 12-3 PM. After pushing for an ETA, they promised they would arrive before 3 PM and finish quickly. By 3:20 PM, they still hadn't shown up, so I was forced to cancel my appointment and put all my furniture back myself. They completely ghosted my cancellation text. It is now Monday afternoon and this well-known local business hasn't even bothered to call, apologize, or acknowledge the massive waste of my time. Unacceptable customer service.

I also liked the fact Anthony didn't have any of those scam maintenance contracts that the bigger guys try to intimidate you into signing. If they try to pull that crap, run. My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

I called Service Pros at 4pm. Kieth called me back within a 1/2 hour. He said he would stop by on his way home. He zeroed in on the problem, an electrical relay, replaced it and the house was cool by 6pm. His fee was very reasonable, so reasonable that I was willing to pay it rather than wait a week without air conditioning in 90 degree weather for it to be free with the service contract.

I woke up on a chilly November morning to a house that was 61 degrees. I realized quickly the pilot…read morelight would not stay lite. I called two other places that couldn't come out until the next day. The third call was to Rite Temp Heating and Cooling. I spoke with their answering service and was told one of their technicians would call me in 5 minutes. Sure enough Carmine called me in less then 5 minutes. I explained the problem and he said he was finishing a water heater installation and could be at my house in 45 minutes. Carmine arrived and began troubleshooting the hot water heater. He replace the thermocouple and adjusted the flame so that it would directly hit the thermocouple. Unfortunately that wasn't the problem. He checked the power and relay but, they weren't the cause of the problem either. Carmine diagnosed the problem to be the gas valve. He made some called to supply houses and located one nearby at Ferguson plumbing supply. Carmine drove to the supply house and returned with the new gas valve. He swapped the gas valve and lite the pilot light. He checked to make sure the hot water heater circulated water and the water return pipe got hot. He had me raise the temperature on anther heating zone and made sure the hot water system operated correctly. Thank you Carmine and Rite Temp Heating and Cooling.
