Everyone at the gun counter ignored me for nearly ten minutes and then the one who did eventually agree to assist me couldn't have been any less enthusiastic about the products he was supposed to be selling. None of my questions were answered in any helpful way, and the information I did receive was delivered with an apathetic sigh. Not worth the effort. I will not give them my business.

The sales staff is young and inexperienced. They all seem quite friendly and courteous however…read moretheir knowledge of the stores product line is limited. Its not their fault, as this burden falls on management/owner. I asked for a can of exterior white paint ~$60 later I was home opening the can to discover it was not paint, but some sort of clear varnish. When I returned to the store to exchange it for actual paint, they refused to exchange it. I then went to Home Depot and purchased the correct paint that I needed by a very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and at a much reduced price. For a local hardware store that obviously cannot compete with the prices of the large, "big box" stores, one would think that they would go to great lengths to at least excel in customer service and product knowledge. I dont beleive this store has figured that out. This store seems to be resting on the laurels of being "local", and thats about it.
