I have been going to Jackson County Tire for several years. Since I sold the farm and moved into…read moretown, I haven't been going there for everything just because it's out 20 miles out of my way. However, recently I needed to change tires on one of my hotrods and I knew I could trust these wheels to Jackson County tires, so I loaded up the truck and took off. They were very gracious (I ordered the new tires on-line, not there) and charged about half of what any of the shops in my town would've. I guess I forgot what great service was all about! (If you have no reception/waiting area, then I question why there were several chairs, a table and tv in the space along with another customer waiting at the time of my visit.) I thought I was getting a reputable business but apparently if you're from out of town price…read moregouging is what they do.had my vehicle towed there cause they assured me it would be quick and affordable then they tell me it will be almost 1500$ for the power steering lines and that they charge 175$ an hr for labor so I just arranged to pick my car back up and it was still 193$ for the inspection and tow.I feel this is absolutely outrageous and was mainly because they knew I was from 4 hrs away and only here because my granddaughter had surgery and now I'm stuck till I can get this repaired at a reasonable price!
