The bright colors and paint all over the building spoke to me. Inside, it is pretty similar to other gift shops int he area. My hotel was on the same street as this gift shop. There are a total of 4 gifts shops (to my knowledge) in the same area. I hit all 4 just to check them out and compare. Also, I needed umbrellas, socks, and other miscellaneous things during my trip. I came in here looking for an umbrella and ended up looking at other random things. I think every gift shop I went into had crocodile heads and teeth lol This is odd to me but normal for Florida I guess lol

Yes, the pens I saw at the Publix were a dollar cheaper here, so if you want to get a few points of memorabilia from the trip, this isn't a bad place to do it. Toys, luggage, shot glasses and more... not all of it Disney or Universal related, there was a fair amount of just random Florida and Orlando merchandise, too. They didn't have the bead/charm items we were looking for, so we moved on, but others may find interest here (and cheaper than some of the parks though not necessarily any indication of quality or style).

I've found so many cool treasures here over the years--from park merchandise to Disney Cruise Line items--all at fantastic prices. It's essentially an overflow store for merchandise from the parks and cruise ships, so you never know what you'll discover. A few pro tips: there can be a line to get in, especially on weekends and during peak tourist seasons, so plan accordingly. And don't go in with a specific item in mind--this is more of a treasure hunt than a traditional shopping trip. BUYERS BEWARE - SCAMMER…read more We visited the shop as we stayed around the area on vacation. Based on Yelp review, we chose this store out of many others. The store has decent amount of souvenirs and we enjoyed our shopping. The cashier, an older gentleman was friendly during our check out transaction and was chatting with us, and after completing the transaction, gave us a coupon for future visit and 2 free pens. We walked out of the store thinking nothing of it and headed to our next destination. Upon returning home, we then realized we were over charged by 3 extra shirts that ended up costing us additional $30+ that we did NOT purchase. Looking at the receipt later, the man scanned three different shirts an additional time in between other items we purchased. In addition, the man has the computer screen in front him where he can see the exact items scanned. Thus, it's not an accident where the 3 items were repeatedly scanned. This was an attempt to disguise the extra items from showing up repeatedly on the receipt if you don't pay close attention up front. The friendly chatter, the coupons and free pens are an attempt at distracting the customer as they know not many tourists would and can go back to request a refund. Further, we realized the receipt printed "No Refund", and this was no where posted in the store, nor mentioned during check out. Even if we do go back and confront the employee, there is no refund nor anyway to prove this dishonest practice. This is disappointing for a shop that has good reviews on here. Buyers beware, confirm each of your transactions BEFORE payment if you choose to shop at this location.

Visted the store after hearing all the hype online about deals etc and was appalled by what I witnessed. What should be a shopping experience aligned with Disney's typical guest experiences is in reality an auction and shopping hoard that is not discouraged at all by the store. The store had numerous whatnot sellers and live auctioneers conducting live auctions for store merchandise they had not yet purchased. To put this into context, these sellers DO NOT own the items they are auctioning, they are running live auctions that store customers were appearing in without knowing, selling items from the racks that they hadn't purchased yet and interfering with other shoppers as they shopped. It makes you not want to shop there and just go online and attend their auctions instead because at least then you don't have them shoving you out of the way and grabbing things back from you as you shop. They were literally live streaming shelves, starting auctions for items for sale on the shelves and blocking shoppers from buying those items they were trying to auction despite not owning the items. They had carts filled with merchandise for their auctions. When the doors opened Sunday morning the whatnot sellers were all waiting first in line and clearly knew the staff, calling some by their first name, joking with them etc. As soon as they get into the store they grab everything off the shelves and stock pile the items in their carts, cutting off shoppers, families etc. In the rear corner of the store, two men stood "guarding" multiple carts overflowing with toys they hoarded off the shelves as guests tried to shop. They refused to give the items to shoppers and claimed they were buying them. All the while standing in the back corner with piles of items that in store shoppers wanted to buy, however the whatnot sellers grabbed everything to try to auction them off from inside the store. It was crazy. You had the option to wait for them to run their auctions and see if someone online wanted to buy the item and have a shot at them then deciding to "put it back" What a joke. The staff seem very well aware that this was going on and didn't want to acknowledge it when it was called out to them. Some of them clearly have a relationship with these people. I attempted to notify a manager on the floor who I saw people auctioning within her line of sight. I asked if she saw this happening and she gave a blank stare. I then asked if she knew what whatnot was thinking maybe she doesn't understand what's happening, but she said she knew what it was and didn't understand what the issue was. I explained that there were a group of men guarding carts full of merchandise they haven't bought in the back corner of the store while their partners ran live auctions in the store. The manager just stared at me. Im not sure if she was getting a cut of the action or what. It was bizarre. A quick search on Google showed this practice is not permitted, yet the store workers and managers did nothing to stop it and engaged with sellers who were in auctioning. I took numerous pictures and videos of this happening. Amazingly, the auctioning customers were fine to record and conduct their auctions, but I was given dirty looks for taking pictures documenting what was going on. I watched as a woman visiting from another country repeatedly attempted to buy a toy from the shelf only to have a seller tell her they are auctioning the item and to put it back on the shelf. The woman's child was clearly upset and the mom was upset by the situation. This was the nonsense that staff allowed to go on. I will not shop here again because of this practice. I don't care what discount they are running on old merchandise no one wanted. The way you treat customers whether in the park or in your bargain hut should be the same as both carry the "Disney" brand name. I don't know why a company would allow their brand to be devalued by this nonsense. I LOVED that the Nike outlet had a sign visible to all strictly prohibiting this practice, not allowing auctions in their store nor will they permit the return of items from the auctioneers, preventing item hoarding. THANK YOU NIKE AND SHAME ON YOU DISNEY CHARACTER OUTLET!

Most were items were past season's stock. Cast Members were helpful but sadly, they weren't all thrilled when I asked for help. Would I come back? Maybe. If my next visit to Disneyworld gives me some free time, I may go back to check things out. There is a 2nd Character Warehouse which is apparently smaller too. I may check that one out next time.

We got out, and approached the door. I saw a man on the stairs staring at us when we walked in. He, and the other employees would appear right where we were looking and pretend to straighten the already organized store. I didn't see $5.99 shirts anywhere, but picked up a Disney Shirt that was $14.99 we were going to buy. After feeling uncomfortable and followed, we decided to put it back and leave to go elsewhere and shop. Glad we did! We visited the Celebration Gift Shop down the street at 6111 and found the same shirt for $12.99 and the employees were much friendlier and didn't follow us. Mind you, we showed up in 2 Mercedes. I like the Victoria's Secret shop here, comfy and affordable for the name brand. I remember coming here to the Nike shop to get work shoes years ago too. I've spent many summer days walking around the open air mall. Window shopping, shopping for school, then shopping for work. It's still a pastime with my family.
