We picked up the car and the trunk no longer stays open and the head rest were deployed and never fixed. Upon returning the car Oliver was extremely rude and called my husband a liar, and he will not complete the repair. Needless to say Oliver does not have any customer service skills. Gerber had received payment and now didn't want to deal with it and told the insurance company that the repair was complete and didn't need any further work!! This is how my experience went: - Got in my car, noticed about a 10 inch crack in my windshield. - I called Allstate - My call was automatically queued to the agents that handle glass issues. - I gave the details to the agent. - Agent asked if I wanted a mobile or in store repair. - I stated I wanted an in store repair. They asked "Is Safelite AutoGlass ok" - I said yes. - The agent booked me a 9 am appointment - I arrived on time. In 5 minutes my car was already in process of getting fixed. I was told that it would take about 2 hours for the glass to be replaced since I have a BMW. - I asked if a driver could take me to Starbucks down the streeet. No question asked- a driver happily dropped me off. - 9:20 am - I received a call from a technician, who listed all the interior defects on my car. I told the absolute truth. They were covering their tail. Unscrupulous people must have tried to cheat their way for free repairs. - 10:30 am - Got a call - My car was done. Conclusion: My car was repaired perfectly. They even vacuumed the carpet. Service was professional, organized and polite. Very positive experience.
