The gentleman was kind enough to heat them up for me before handing me my box of goodies to go! I feel terrible to report but these pastries never made it home, they didn't stand a chance! I really LOVED the chicken filled square pastry. It was wonderfully savory, moist and the exterior as buttery and flaky as one could ever desire! My fruit shake/smoothie was cold, tart and just the perfect pairing for these delicious treats. Also, DO NOT SLEEP on the side of ají verde sauce for dipping. It was DELISH! Lady who very loudly asked me "WAS YOUR LATTE ICED OR HOT?" (weird) drops my açaí bowl on the table rather aggressively. K go to the front counter to tell the same lady what's wrong, and she just goes "WHAT'S UP?"- I tell her the oatmeal is wrong and then she says "I'm not the manager, I can't do that," instead of just gesturing or talking to her manager who was literally standing 3 feet away from her. Anyway, I get my money back from the manager, who profusely apologizes, then I sit outside with my latte and it's dripping everywhere since it's overfilled. Just wrong. The whole experience was wrong. And get this, people: a 16oz iced latte, a 12oz iced latte with an extra shot, a bowl of oatmeal, and a very small açaí bowl were FORTY-SIX DOLLARS. There's a lot right next to it. :) They are mostly organic, with the veggies coming straight from their garden!! The food is clean and delicious. We had the hummus platter, the egg salad, and the chocolate cake. All of which were delicious!! We also tried the coffee but that was made in the early AM and tasted very bad. Yuck.
