This is a 2 visit review! I went to Vintners Table for Valentines Day with my husband, and a week later went back for brunch with my daughter. Both experiences were really lovely! The place is decorated so cute, with 2 beautiful bars and a retail area as well. We had a reservation for Valentines Day but just walked in for brunch. Our servers both were very friendly and attentive. We tried a flatbread, a sandwich, Mac and cheese, and the fried burrata the first night, with a sangria flight. For the brunch we had the fried burrata again, the pear crostini, a flatbread and mimosa and espresso martini flights. We absolutely loved the place and all the food! The flatbreads were a little light on the toppings for me, so I asked for butter to spread on the crust. I got a red wine infused butter that was absolutely amazing! Such a sweet place! First off, my server Liz was delightful. She was friendly, accommodating and attentive! I ordered the wine flight and was so pleased. Honestly, the wine is delicious. Try the Merlot if you like big reds. It was so good! I ordered the meatballs and they were lovely! The red sauce is my dream. Hardy tomato with enough salt. Had a nice dinner at Vintner's before a concert at the colonial theater. We created our own cheese board which was delicious and also split a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. It was my first time visiting here but I have been to their winery in Kutztown so was familiar with the wines already. I would definitely go back again. They had some very interesting dessert cocktails that I would love to try! It was a little bit on the louder side inside but it didn't bother us too much. read more

This might be my new favorite place to go! Definitely a great choice if you're look for a wine bar. I had a wine flight with rosato cider, traminette, white peach elderflower sangria, and the red apple cinnamon (Sept Sangria of the month). I've also done glasses of the red apple cinnamon sangria and strawberry bourbon smash cocktail. Literally everything I've had tasted so good to me! They are on the sweet side for wine but not too sweet that I didn't enjoy it. Other things to note: On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, they have $12 wine flights. And when I went last week, there was live music and the artist was sooo good! The wine has a very cute urban farmer aesthetic. This place is perfect for a ladies night, a date night, large groups, or a solo night! They even have a coffee menu. I'd love to try it sometime when I can get there earlier in the day. read more

Finally made it over to this wonderfully located spot a few weeks ago for a date night. It was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed a pair of flight tastings, along with the antipasti board. The wines were all excellent, from Folino Estate, and the board was scrumptious. After our testing, we stuck around and ordered more wine and the sangria of the month - a delicious chocolate strawberry offering. Our server/flight guide was attentive, patient and very personable. The entire visit felt like an experience, and we knew this was going to be one of our "go-to" spots moving forward. We also purchased a half-dozen bottles him to enjoy. In fact, we were so impressed that two weeks later we ended up visiting Folino Estates in Kutztown, and stayed at nearby Vintner's Inn. All three locations, owned by the Folino family, were nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I have visited more than a hundred U.S. wineries together, including those across Pennsylvania, along the west coast and in more than a dozen states. The Folino properties, including Vintner's Inn are easily among our favorites. We've been sharing our experiences with everyone and want this locations to stick around for a long time! read more

Meh. The wine is delicious. It's what they're known for. The service and food were less than mediocre. Our server was nice but asked us if port was a red or white wine. The food we were served did not match the description on the menu. When we further inquired, they said today was the first day of a new menu and they didn't have all of the needed ingredients. Which is fine, but at least tell us before the dish is served. My table mate was asked what flavor gelato he would like with his dessert and it was only delivered after we asked where it was at. Our server literally disappeared, think they left for the day, and no other employee checked in with us. We might still be sitting there if I didn't ask for the check. Summary: Go to for the wine, but if you want the food and good service, drive a bit longer and go to the Kutztown location. That was excellent, this location couldn't compete. read more

I've visited here 4 times and most of the experiences have been enjoyable. Service can be hit or miss. The restaurant/tasting room/shop is super cute and classy. You can do a tasting, order a glass or bottle of wine. They have a variety of cheese/meat boards and sandwiches. There is a wine for every palette. I prefer dry wines and they have a nice selection of dry reds and whites from their signature collection My favorite red is the cabernet franc. It's full bodied but not overly dry. Their sauvignon blanc is good and I'm not typically a big fan, but it's aged in steel. Also their pinto grigio is crisp and very drinkable. I love their sparking wines, specifically the frizzante rosato. They also have their black label collection is really well produced red wines. They are more expensive, but worth it if you enjoy a bold, dry red. My favorite from the collection is the sangiovese. Vintner's Table is a great addition to Phoenixville, especially given the other wine tasting rooms have closed in 2020. read more

I want to love this place. The ambiance is quite nice, although we were seated at a table that had a dollop of goop from whoever was there before. There were many other tables available, no biggie. My blood orange sangria was delicious, although the sugar rim on the glass was chunkier than I prefer. We were excited to try some fun things. We were very disappointed with the Calabrian sausage polenta, which tasted nothing like Italian sausage. Think kielbasi or hot dog. Didn't work well together. It also had waaay to much red sauce. Both pinsas, Margherita & Calabrese, had a decent crust, which it is known for, but again, way too much red sauce. It also took about 15 minutes to get our check, which felt annoying because there were multiple people working that seemed very available. Expensive tastings and small pours. I paid $50 total for both me and my husband. That's $20 each for two sips of wine, 6 pours. They have an automatic 20% gratuity added. While we normally tip, I do not appreciate that I was not warned about the gratuity charge until after we were totaled up. The tasting included the funny looking small wine glasses which I doubt we will ever use. The wines are good, reds are dark and dry which we like. I would definitely recommend the reds. The atmosphere was nice and clean, but I think in the future I will travel to the vineyard location for a better experience and not get the tastings. My advice is know what you want going in, buy what you want and avoid the tastings. read more

This spot is very easy to miss as there's no big and bright signage on Bridge Street. It's about across the street from Bridge Street Chocolates, and next door to LUSH Nails (bright pink sign) and Threads Marketplace, and overall nearer to the bike shop. This part cafe/bistro, wine and retail space, wine tasting room is very beautifully remodeled. It fosters a very European and Italian feel and experience. The space is huge, and entire room is filled with calming bistro style music. First stop within Vinter's Table was at the "bar" where you can order food. They offer large sampler platters with cheese, charcuterie, and other accoutraments. They on average range from $30-40. At this part of the experience you cannot also order wine, you need to walk over to the tasting bar. At the wine tasting bar, you can only order drinks to go enjoy at the seated food bar, or within the cafe space up front with tables. You can only do wine tastings in this area and you cannot also enjoy food at the same time. The retail area is spread throughout the space and there's wine, cheese, honey related gadgets, good, and chachkes. They also sell their wines here in the rear corner. Full bottles range about $15-25. There are two types of wine tastings available; 6 for $10 +tax, and 6 for $15 +tax including options from their specialty wines / 4 year-old red vintages. The specialty ones were mostly dryer, tannic reds so me and my guest opted for two of the 6 for $10. There's about 15-20 or so options of whites and reds, effervescent/sparkling, and specialty wine "cocktails" like sangria and lemonade available. We tried just about all of the whites and reds between the two of us. We enjoyed 6 of the twelve unique wines we tasted, and four unique wines enough to buy full bottles. Four bottles and two glasses of wine ran ~$90. The tasting experience was overall very positive and the wine pourer facilitated an overall positive experience and was knowledgeable. He demonstrated a little bit of struggle jumping between multiple parties doing tastings, buying drinks, etc. For my party, our questions were around choosing wines to taste which were more unusual varietals. It would have been nice for the back of the tasting paper to have tasting highlights and descriptions of all of the staple wines so it would supplement the busy wine pourer and enable somewhat of a self-driven ability. After ordering a tasting (and paying), finishing the tasting (and in a separate transaction buying wine bottles and two full glasses of wine), we headed over to eat. We sat at the food "bar" and ordered the brunch platter. For ~$36 it was filling for two hungry adults. There were some hiccups with this part of the experience as it took the staff a long time to complete assembling the platter and reheating/completing the bake for the included croissant. We were asked 2 times to pay by the same person; once after ordering the platter, and next while we were waiting for the platter to be made. The focus on paying mid-experience I found to be very tacky and unusual for a 'sit down at the counter bar' experience...let me enjoy and finish the meal especially since you already acknowledged me confirming I would pay after eating. Though the staff could not figure out how to properly bake the croissant so it didn't have wet dough inside, they were able to give us extra bread and crackers and also threw in other goodies for the delay and inconvenience. They also offered for us to stop back later to get the croissants once the kitchen supervisor was in. All in all I enjoyed the atmosphere, how clean, modern and thematic the experience was, and the wine offerings. I unfortunately sometimes find that PA grapes and PA-made wines have room to mature and often taste very "rough". This was definitely not the case with any of the wines here. I did find the very segregated experience between all of the areas restrictive and disruptive. I also found the staff to all be growing into their roles within this new business, and figuring out the procedures and operations live in action. I understand the business is new and getting through their growing pains with new staff, new location, new concept, etc. I do wish they would think through the client experience so that it is more conducive to freely experiencing and mixing the different parts of the space. I would love to do a flight (aka a tasting) at the food counter bar even if it's self directed, OR be able to bring a platter to the wine tasting counter. I hated drinking a tasting on an empty stomach and the wine pourer telling me "no food here" without an option to eat and taste! I also wish you could pay at the end of experiences instead of up front what seemed like 500 times. It seemed odd to me how many times we were asked to pay up front without an option to start a tab and checkout ONCE when done at Vintner's Table, instead of each individual experience at each part of the store. read more

Large restaurant and the bathrooms are single. I did not know that and pulled on the door thinking it would be like every other place. I then pulled again thinking it was stuck. Up pops a menu where each guest has to individually order their items. Which made it a little confusing because none of us knew what we were doing. Some tabs got linked, some did not. Since it's a sharing situation (cheese boards) a few people had to Venmo each other after the fact. Which is fine. I purchased a $14 salad and it came with plastic utensils. Plastic utensils. For $13 of lettuce with a 20% tip, please give me a metal fork and knife. You also input your name when you order, but when items came out they just stood there said "who's is this?" (someone from the kitchen brought out mine, dressed oddly. I saw zero wait staff). This place can be pricy. Pay your employees a living wage (chef, bartender, manager), and don't expect anyone to tip when there is literally no wait staff, or make it optional. Maybe I would have tipped 10% for the trouble of someone bringing me plastic ware? You can order food at McDonalds off a touchscreen now. I'm not tipping the workers at McDonalds for the pleasure of me to do their job for them. Makes sense, right? read more

I had a horrible experience here tonight. My friends and I came in to buy bottles of wine. My one friend and I approached the man at the front of the store (dark hair, beard, septum piercing). He was already extremely rude and had an air of arrogance about him. We ended up buying two bottles and went to the same guy to buy them. He examined my REAL ID for two minutes staring at me and bending it back and forth. I am 23 by the way and we figured at a fancy wine store they would know right away that it is real. He proceeded to tell me I looked different from the picture because of my jaw line? I said maybe it was because I gained weight and I was 16 in my ID photo. I felt extremely offended to have my jaw line questioned. This man's attitude and demeanor was abysmal. He then asked for my birthday and address. It was very accusatory and rude. We were visiting from out of state and were looking for a low-key stop to enjoy some area wines. Phoenixville is a nice little village type area with shops and I'd highly recommend a stop at Vintners Table. We did the charcuterie tasting. We also ordered a butter board and a caprese board in addition to the tasting. The ambience was perfect- seating and reservations were nicely spaced, wine and accessories were available to browse, the bar area was clean and open. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the bar stools were so uncomfortable it made us want to leave a little sooner than we would have if we could've sat at a table. I'd definitely go back, but would ask for a table. ETA*** after reading some of the other reviews, I wanted to add that we were fine with the added gratuity fee. We've been to wine bars/tastings from NY to Napa and every place has had a similar fee. read more

I've been wanting to try this place being a wine buff and stopped in today. I wasn't impressed. Service wasn't that great. I sat at the bar and no one greeted me and the employees were talking amongst themselves. They did not have a menu and I had to scan a QR code. There wasn't any descriptions of the wines so I just chose a few for a flight. Wine was low quality and lacked a lot of balance and structure. Ordered and appetizers too which was just warmed up real quick in a convection type oven. Food was ok. They charge a 20% service fee so beware. Probably won't be back. read more

My sister and I had a lovely time at Vintner's Table! We came on a Friday evening around 6 pm and there was plenty of seating available. The tables were socially distanced well. We ordered food and drinks at the bar and were served at our table. We ordered the reserve Chardonnay, the Pinot Grigio, the red wine glaze grilled cheese, and cranberry burrata to split. The food was great, especially for cheese lovers, and our wine was quite good (impressed by this PA wine!). We also tried the Rosato and the Traminette. The interior decor makes for a great ambiance and the little market is fun to peruse. The staff were kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back! read more

We did not intend to come here, but it started raining kind of hard and we decided to go in for a drink. The woman who I think was the manager was very nice and sat us at the bar. We ended up getting a bottle of wine and a board. The wine was good. It was a dry rose. Perfect for summer. The cheese on the board was good; herbed goat, Gorgonzola, Parmesan chunks and I think sharp provolone. The cheese was good as were the olives. The antipasto veggies, artichokes, roasted red pepper and mushrooms were all jarred and tasteless. The big rub is that if you are charging a 20% service charge then you might want to provide some service. It was not that busy, but the bartender didn't give us a bit of attention once he gave us our wine. When the server gave us our board, she put it down and said " here you go, someone will bring plates and forks as soon as they can" What??? We waited five minutes staring at the board and then were finally able to flag down the bartender and asked for plates and forks that he brought. It wasn't that busy, he walked by us a couple times before we could get his attention. As I said it was not that busy. We thought it was a new place and they were getting their groove, but the manager told us it has been there a few years. It's pretty, but probably won't go back. read more

I love this place! The decor is a lovely rustic chic, with lots of cute kitchen items for sale. The service is excellent and the servers, particularly the manager, are knowledgeable and friendly. I have had a lovely sauvignon blanc , and the sangria of the week, I believe. I have not been impressed by any of the other wine tasting places in Phoenixville, but this one is great. A mixed bag. The atmosphere is fantastic. The wine tasting presentation is nice however the tasting amounts served is absolutely minuscule. You can barely get the flavor of the wine you were tasting. I have been to winetasting all over the country and the world including California as well as Chile. This is the smallest amount of wine I have ever been served. Once you sit at a table to purchase some wine and eat some food it is as if you are part of their staff. You use an app to order and pay for your food and barely interact with anyone. I find it very impersonal. The appetizer was good but the flatbread tasted a bit like a frozen pizza. I asked for salt and pepper and they legitimately were a bit confused. Again a bit of a mixed bag. They need to serve more wine during the winetasting. read more

Stopped by after dinner down the street and had a wonderful time. The place is lovely, the staff is extremely friendly and wines very good. Beautiful weather so we enjoyed a couple roses outside while people watching and chatting it up with Gail, the super friendly manager. They also have some lovely home decor items for sale. My wife and I decided to try Vintner's on a whim, and we're so happy that we did! Herman, our wine tasting guide, was welcoming, very informative and made great suggestions. The hostess (wish I remembered her name) who made our Antipasta Board (which was way delicious) was equally friendly and helpful! Overall, the customer service could not have been beat. Now for the wines! Anyone who has had Pennsylvania wines knows they can be more "miss" than "hit." I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I know what I like and I honestly did not have one bad wine over the 12 selections of our wine tasting! The selections, both white and red, were all very smooth and clean, no bitter aftertaste, and the sweet wines were not obnoxiously so. My wife settled on a glass of Traminette, while I chose the Chambourlin (and I hardly ever drink red wine) while we enjoyed our Antipasta Board. 1 Star is a generous rating for the experience I had. My girlfriend and I had made a reservation before hand and paid online for a wine tasting ($70). Upon entering, there was nobody to greet us, we stood aimlessly and confused at the front unsure what to do. Eventually resorted to asking one of the chefs who said he would get someone to help us. 5+ minutes later, we were finally seated, crammed between others at the bar since they seated too many people and had to make room for us. Once seated we waited for about 15 or more minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. We got a short run down of the tasting menu and were asked to select 6 wines to taste. Again, 20 minutes go by and not a single employee had come to check on us. After waiting 40-45 minutes with little to no service we decided to leave. Overall it was a pretty poor experience and we will be in contact for a refund. read more

Had high hopes that we'd found a great spot to stop while doing a long bike ride. To start, the ridiculous scan order system failed to place our order for more than 15 min. Not one person spoke to us. Took another 45 min for a sangria flight to land, five more min for an extra glass that we had requested as we planned to share and had requested thru the app. Then the cheese board came... no knife, napkin or plate. Another ten min. for those essentials. Despite the fact that we ordered by an app, no personal service except to tell us to use the app and we kept having to go to the bar to find out what was taking so long and still they had the nerve to add a 20% tip. Bill was $61 and change for a cheese board and one flight of wine that took over an hour to order and receive. Are you kidding me? Should have kept to our usual Sodona or Iron Hill Brewery. This place needs to get it together, have more personal service with trained people before they start mandating the tip for a party of two. That should only ever be for large parties.
