I was ordered by my company to come here for a trailer air leak, and I can honestly say this is one of the worst truck stops/shops I've ever seen. They force you through a gated lot where they threaten to charge you after two hours. Overnight is $25 for a filthy, garbage-strewn, poorly lit lot up a hill. Highway robbery. I arrived at 8:45 AM, checked in, and was told they'd call me when it was my turn. The shop was EMPTY. One tractor inside. Meanwhile, three or four employees stood around the desk, laughing and chatting like they had nothing better to do. No sense of urgency. No professionalism. I waited in my truck for an hour and a half before leaving, because I wasn't about to pay just to sit there while they did nothing. When I left, the shop was still EMPTY. And let's be real, the people they've got representing this company say everything about its standards. Tattoos all over their faces and necks, acting like they couldn't care less about the job. If management thinks that's acceptable representation, no wonder this place is a dump. Don't waste your time, your money, or your patience here. This shop is a disgrace, the lot is disgusting, and the staff is a reflection of exactly why this place is falling apart. Management should be embarrassed to even keep the lights on. read more

Stay away from this shop during the daytime especially the ladies I checked in their shop at 8:48 today. I did not get into the shop until 16:45. There was one truck in the shop at that time and yes I got the clearance and all it was is the passenger side front clearance light needed to be replaced. Not only they wouldn't answer their phones masterfully try to get a hold of them. They put other drivers in the baby for me that checked in after me. My God it was a 10 minute clearance light replacement. But I guess since I did not have something swinging between my legs she thought I should wait. Yeah it's discrimination here I think second shift especially Wesley and Nora who were great with me got me and got me out I don't get this place. Located in the TA travel center one of their Country pride restaurants reopen for business again like all the other ones along with the Petro iron skillets the buffets and the salad bars are long gone replace with tables. As with many places though there is a lot of trouble getting everything stocked and they are not of exception. I came in I was greeted promptly by Stephanie very pleasant waitress and she let me know that they don't have any milk and they don't have any orange juice either until hopefully the truck comes in. But it is what it is that's nothing the deduct any stars over or BS like that you know it happens a lot of places aren't getting stocked with their stuff shelves are empty and you just have to deal with it for God's sake. Knocking out a star because they have no freaking orange juice I mean come on people are you really that anal? So I ordered up a traditional one of the classics one thing I do like is they have the healthier turkey sausage option so I had the two eggs over medium with turkey sausage hash browns and wheat toast. my only drawback was when they brought the wheat toast out it was a little dry and hard so they probably brought me a fresh order and it was yum! The staff is attentive and the facilities are clean. The service availability is expansive. There's plenty of options for food available. Unlike the Pilot across the street, EVERY fuel pump is working. However, TA has this nasty policy of marking almost all of its parking as reserved. And I've seen the shop manager actively enforcing this. This costs $25 if you're not a rewards member. I will say this over and over and over: Reserved Parking for truckers is a SCAM! A few spots I get, but 90% of the lot!? If not for the parking SCAM, this location would've got 5-Stars. read more

We stopped here to get gas and eat dinner. While there are several choices for food, there was not a single clean table and all the trash cans were over flowing. Taco Bell prices were $5.00 more than what you would pay somewhere else for the same combo $15.89 versus $10.89). Staff at all three restaurants were standing around doing nothing rather than taking out the trash or wiping down the tables and floors. It was just bad all around. read more

With a new grand baby in Atlanta, we are going to be making lots of trips from Chattanooga. While I love traveling, I hate public restrooms. It's so hit or miss. Some places surprise you with decent restrooms and some places surprise you with restrooms that you don't even want to touch the door handle. So, when I find someplace that has really nice restrooms, I take notice. These restrooms were clean, not at all like most of the restrooms you find on the road. We stop here every time we go south on hwy. 75. The restrooms are always clean and they have a Popeyes Chicken/BurgerKing/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut and if your not in a hurry they have a Country Pride restaurant in here. The gas prices are usually pretty cheap for Georgia. They have Georgia souvenirs, knives and a great candy selection. I REFUSE TO PAY MORE FOR LESS! As we were getting gas across the street, we happened to notice this large travel center and decided to come in for a quick snack. It is a large center with fast foods to the left, (Pizza Hut, Popeyes, Burger King, and Taco Bell, to the right is a full service restaurant, (Country Pride). When you walk through the center doors you will be in the general area of the shop which is like a Quik Trip. Toward the rear of the center is the game room, that has a television and gaming units. The next room down is the driver's room and on this night it was full of driver's watching the NFL game and talking smack. It was packed! Continuing forward, I entered the everything for your truck room and it felt like I was in a tire shop. Wow, this place has every amenity you could possibly want while traveling! Most importantly, the bathrooms were very clean! Now on to the food! I simply wanted to purchase two chicken wings at Popeye's while my husband wanted just a small burger. Simple right? Not here! My husband said that they did not sell the individual burger and offered him the combo or a kid's meal. Really? Meanwhile, I am trying to order just two chicken wings and when she gives me the total, I realize that something is off. These wings are more than $2.50 a piece! Since I stopped eating at Popeye's a while ago because they seriously downsized their wings, there was no way I was going to get taken advantage of yet again. No thanks! We decided to just ease on down the road and explore more reasonable options. This is a great place to stop and rest but as far as a reasonable meal, there are other options just down the road. This is a decent TA with a handful of food options. The restrooms were clean. There is a game room with a few video games, a billiard table and a TV. There is also a separate room with theater type seating, sorta....and a larger TV for movies and TV shows.
