In the end, nothing was accomplished except an unnecessary hard credit inquiry and a very frustrating experience. The issue is not simply that a deal did not happen. The issue is that we were clear about our circumstances, our timing, and our limitations, yet were still steered deeper into a process that should have been stopped much earlier. If our situation was not realistic, that should have been said upfront instead of keeping us there and dragging it out. This experience felt misleading, time-wasting, and unprofessional. It also ruined what was supposed to be my husband's birthday because we lost hours to a process that went nowhere. My advice to anyone considering this dealership: be extremely careful.
