For you youngsters, Slush Puppies were a staple in the late '80s and early '90s. Similar to Icee or Slurpee, they were unique because you squirt the syrup into the cup, then add the ice. It would blend perfectly. Was it magic? Was it sorcery? Who knows, it was just awesome, and the ice couldn't be beat in texture. Sadly, this location did away with them. I received the biggest bolt in my tire. Being in the middle of nowhere, I knew I'd have to drive on…read moreit to have it repaired. I called the day before to make sure they had the tire size I needed, then I limped my car the 15 miles to the shop. When I arrived, I was told it would be an hour. No biggie, so I sat and waited for it. The front lady was super nice and personable, and the shop was small but very clean and organized. I was honestly terrified it was going to cost a fortune, but thankfully they are extremely reasonable on their pricing. I figured I would need a new tire (I was right), and the cost was very competitive. It took almost 2 hours in reality, but I was pretty happy with the experience. My one complaint was that the tire pressure wasn't checked on my car. I guess I'm spoiled with tire shops also making sure the other tires are in good condition. I had another tire that was about 4 pounds lower than it should be, but they didn't take care of it when it was in. I do understand they were busy, but I figured they would check. All in all, I'd visit them again for a new tire, especially for an emergency such as this.

The mechanic (didn't catch his name, but tall/athletic build and has sandy blond hair,) took care of the fix quickly and efficiently. We were back on the road within 20 minutes of arriving and the charge was only $12.50. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a better one!
