It only seems to be a value if you do it weekly. I don't wash my car that frequently, so I just go as needed. You pull into the lane and up to the ATM looking machine to make your choice. They have several levels of washes. The most expensive is $27 (The Platinum), which I tried once and was nice, but they have about 4 or 5 different ones to choose from. Once you pick, you pay and then pull up to the entrance. You stay in your car. Once your car comes out, you can pull into one of the cleaning bays. Here there are white trash cans with clean microfiber cloths and black cans to put your dirty/wet ones in, once you're finished. The cleaning bays: 1) Vacuums on both sides 2) Pressurized air to clean crevices 3) Mat clip - so you can put your floor mats on this rack and blow them or vacuum them before putting them back in 4) 2 types of cleaners - one for glass and the other for your seats, etc. Plenty of room to open all your doors and finish cleaning your vehicle. Our friends who live here highly recommended The Villages Golf Cars for their service, so we went to the Showroom and we were greeted with a friendly welcome and made to feel like our friends were right...but soon our smiles faded because their rental they pulled up was nothing like what we just passed in the showroom. Actually, it was the polar opposite of what they present the TVC to be. Think of it this way...you go the local "Villages"Compact Mercedes dealer with an amazing showroom and lineup of quality cars...and you think to yourself this place has it going give us a cool rental for $450 per week...and then...the salesman pull up a drab green, Yugo 2-door, with a charger that didn't include the plug to plug the cart's charger in. "Really?" Two things...I regularly rent an Audi Q-Series for $400 per week from National and when I commented to the TVC salesman that I was extremely underwhelmed what this "Quality dealer provided...he basically said "it is what it is." We're going to be moving here soon and the $15k-ish I'll be spending for a Golf Cart won't be going to the Villages Yugo dealer. Welcome to the court of Public Opinion "Villages Golf Carts" because these aren't CARS. Regardless of the TVC issues, The Villages is lovely and we look forward to joining you community. Number one being service and we listened to our neighbors and bought one. We had a great guy (Steve) who sold us our golf cart. He was helpful and provided all the info we needed. Is it expensive here.....yes but hopefully if you need help or service or you need someone to get your golf cart no matter where it is, buying from the Villages kicks in.
