There are several restaurants inside the post security zone: Subway, Starbucks, Chocolatería Valor, Rodilla, Cañas y Tapas, Burger King. Most if them are closed at night.
The duty free shop is more expensive than regular stores in Spain. Buy wine and olive oil before you go to the airport.

Seriously - nothing to complain about, not a typical situation for an airport. Flew in and out this airport probably a hundred times. All issues I ever experienced were due to air controllers strikes in France. Cruel people!
Spain rarely offers good service but this time it does. Fly to Alicante!
