Carbon seems to actually look better than what I remember from before. There are lots of good quality items if you know where to look. I was so tempted buy things even though i didnt really need them because they all look so well-made and beautiful lol Here you can find good products for less. The woven items were so beautiful. You can even find "old school" things here such as a the Baterol for "sikwate". Sometimes vendors can even lower prices depending on what you can agree on. I've seen on the TV during my time in cebu that they have like a food market now which seems pretty cool, unfortunately we didnt have time to explore that. Perhaps next time. Either way I did enjoy coming here again and looking at the place with a fresh outlook. Again, not the cleanest of places but there's just something about the it thats actually quite intriguing and fun, happy to have stopped by!

It's a great experience even if you're not hungry; you can enjoy the hustle/bustle and browse not only the food stands but also nearby stalls (shooting off from the main food market) that sell clothing, produce, and other trinkets. Re: food, I loved the scallops and dragonfruit smoothie in particular. Besides, if you're a tourist like me, there generally isn't much sightseeing to do in Cebu City--so this is absolutely one of the places you should go to get a taste of life here.

Not that it's a drag to travel there, it's surely give you a chance to see the sights of Cebu, and if you're really feeling adventurous you can stay there overnight and explore! There are old churches to see, rustic places to visit which have been around since the Spanish and American era. I would always bring Car Car Chicharon back to Manila and give it to my friends, at one point, it's the only thing they want back from Cebu and they can really tell the difference. I like to eat it with rice and vinegar, it makes for a great ulam.

Located just near Fuente Circle it is the first Robinson Mall here in Cebu City. It has three levels and packed with what all you need. It's surrounded with hotels and for sure tourists will definitely love the conveniency. Anyways, going inside is a bit strict and 12years below ain't allowed due to the pandemic restrictions. They have quality merchandise that are great for gift giving as "pasalubong" back home... souvenirs from dried mangoes to native apparel to home decor to quality, locally made jewelry (especially freshwater pearls). The store is neat and organized and prices are cheap. You can definitely find unique Filipino products at Kultura. Btw, "Kultura" means Culture (the arts, customs, lifestyle and background that make up our country). I fell in love with the sundresses and can't wait to wear when the weather gets warm. I don't even like shopping too much but I enjoyed shopping here and in the Philippines as a whole. Usually when I try to turn up my wallet says hold up! Not for me here in this store LoL! Many brand name stores especially shoe brands like Converse, Nike, Adidas, Vans, Skechers, and Puma. We walked around a little bit more continuing our window shopping until we stopped at Giordano (clothing store). That's it... Mom and I splurged at this one store and after paying for our items we didn't want to see the rest of the stores anymore for fear of spending more $$. This was a rare occurence. I just came from a shopping center that did NOT have a lot of people…read more Shopping centers in the Philippines tend to be very busy any day and any time of the week. So to go to this shopping center where almost every business had zero customers was very surprising. The view of the water was wonderful. They also have replicas of numerous landmarks of the world. Specifically, you can see Big Ben, Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This shopping center is called Sands Gateway Mall, and it is situated close to the water in Danao City, Cebu. Really pretty location that has only been open a couple of years. Hopefully, the only reason they were slow is because most of the mall's occupants are reataurants. Also, we came at an odd time (between 2 and 4 pm). Metro will be opening next door in the next year or so. That will increase customer traffic for sure. In the meantime, drop by this mall for a meal if you are wanting to avoid long lines.
