We've walked by the huge indoor swimming pool/activity center many times and peeked inside the reception area but it never occurred to us that the glass door decorated with what I assume are bubbles, which says Tabor, would be anything special.
Yesterday, being a Monday, when so many restaurants are closed, we were googling around to find a place to eat. They are open 7 days a week, until midnight if customers are eating late. You can also enjoy food and drink on the pool deck because there is a separate counter for poolside.
We realized that Tabor was the perfect venue. The interior is bright, airy and relaxing. Videos of waterfalls all around the world play on a large screen.
The menu is quite diverse: German specialties, pizza, salads, pastas & soup.
Our waiter, Julian, was an absolute pleasure. He was very sincere and helpful. With his friendly demeanor, command of languages and attitude, Tabor is very lucky to have him.
I adored my Pizza Diavolo and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his Maultaschen with spinach and brown sauce. I also enjoyed a small house salad which was plentiful.
