First of all the store was dirty and crowded. I didn't get food, I got a drink but I had to wipe dust off the top of it. I've only been in this store a couple of times because it's not on my normal route. Today I stopped in because I was going by there. I spoke with the owner. He was extremely rude to me. In fact, I tried to ask him some questions and he kept cutting me off and interrupting me and it took me three or four times to get a question out. You can't beat this convenient location! Located on Rt. 25 just down the road from Kiwanis Beach, Tabor's is your typical gas station and convenience store duo. Aesthetics-wise, it's a little outdated compared to Irving or Cumby's, but it's clean and the staff are down to earth. If you need fishing supplies, they offer a modest selection, and they do deer tagging in the fall. We often order pizza or fried food to-go -- I don't think we've ever waited longer than 15-minutes for any order. Our kids love the thin crust and the tasty cheese! Prices are good, comparable to other places in the area. There is a small area of booths for folks who want to dine-in, and a rack of newspapers and other 'zines.
