The tacos here are packed with flavor. I went with the chicken and steak options and both were seasoned well and came with great toppings. This place may have better items. This place may have just had a bad morning? We ordered 3 bacon breakfast burritos, 1 ultimate burrito and 1 bean and cheese burrito. Everything was so dry and almost all tortilla. Doesn't remind me of authentic tortillas that are fresh (made in house typically) which was disappointing. They also didn't have any green salsa to maybe *hopefully* add some flavor to the empty, bland burrito either. Not sure it's not worth coming back and waiting in line for 25 mins next time. read more

We were passing through on our way home from Boise and found out that Taco Bandido is still alive and well in Burley Idaho. The locations in Idaho Falls and Pocatello closed years ago and we've been sad about it ever since. We've missed the Bandito Burrito, the crisp bean burritos and the Cactus Juice and knew we had to detour to satisfy our craving. It was so great. The food was just like we had imagined and the juice was a great way to tie everything together. If you are from an area that used to have a Taco Bandito or you haven't heard of it before, you need to try this fast casual Mexican food. It's great tasting and it's fairly priced. You won't be disappointed. Use your map program to find the exit off the interstate and follow the road until it feels like you've left town but just keep going. Bandito will be up ahead on the left waiting for you. We'll be stopping again the next time we come through. read more

The food is excellent~ I haven't had a bad meal here! Servers are very friendly. There is always a long line at the drive thru but that tells me the food is good. The wait isn't horrible and to be expected with the lines but it is worth it. When visiting in Burley we visit Taco Bandido several times. read more

1984 - Chubbuck, Idaho. My first and last time I ever ate at a Taco Bandido that was owned by my Uncle (until now). I was on my way moving to Arizona to go to college. I was surprised to see one here in Burley when I was actually at the Ace Hardware picking up supplies the other day, and I just had to make it a point to stop. I agree with the first reviewer, Sara G. This food actually is very good for 'fast' food. I watched the people making the food as I waited for my takeout order, and all of them took their time and made each order quite well. This place was very busy, inside as well as the drive-thru. The Bandido Burrito actually tastes pretty darn good, and the Taco I ordered was very fresh tasting and the shell was not stale at all. The only thing I didn't get wowed on was the guacamole. I think they could find a better choice than the one they serve, however it was edible, as I ate every drop :-) read more

Attention my MEXICAN friends.... this is not traditional Mexican food . This is AMERICANIZED Mexican inspired food. The beans are what we call "frijoles de lata". The rice is the kind you get at pollo loco and it's not your typical "carne asada", it's ground beef. Off the charts value. The food is as cheap as taco bell but 5X better. I just had a couple simple burritos but you can tell they use quality ingredients. Yum. If you eat inside you find a place that is well kept, clean and nice. The bathrooms are among the best I've seen in a Mexican joint, and for me this a great way to judge the quailty of a restaurant. Hi Rosie and the night crew, this one's forThis place has been a family favorite my entire life. Almost a weekly visit. As of late their evening crew has been absolutely terrible. From getting our orders wrong, lying straight to our faces, and just plain rude, disrespectful attitude all around, it's ridiculous. I can't believe they are allowed to act like this. When I've asked for a manager she was just as rude and disrespectful to me and the establishment. Our most recent experience I was sitting outside the business in my car. The line was long so I tried to call and get my order going at 9:10. I've noticed that often in the evenings they ignore their phone. I called back a few more times and was hung up on. I called back and a young man answered and immediately "were closed stop calling" and hung up. I called back and he answered very rudely and said they closed early because they didn't have any business. Little did he know, I was sitting outside watching customers go in and out and the line of at least five cars and more coming in. I asked him what time they closed because online in more than one instance they close at 10:00 PM. He told me they close at 9:30. I said "perfect, it's only 9:20 so can I place my order?" He told me no and hung up on me again. I called back and this time a woman answered and told me they closed because they had no business. I asked for a manager, she told me that she was the manager. She was very rude and disgusting towards me. She told me her name was Rosie. I asked to have someone above her call me back the next day to discuss the incident. I left my name and phone number. After all was said and done, I ended up just waiting in line and getting my food around 9:45. They were still taking orders outside and inside. But don't worry, they had closed almost an hour before because they had no business. I have never known Taco Bandito to "not have business" lol. The food is pretty good until I found a hair in my taco. Someone needs to bring some life in to this place. The workers don't seem to want to be here. They are really slow for 4:30 in the afternoon.
