Tacos are good but they don't give a lot of meat like other restaurants,probably won't be back

Ordered the Patron plate which came with carne, pollo and shrimp, with grilled onions and green peppers. The sides were rice and beans which were excellent. The carne was a bit burned, along with the peppers, however this didn't effect the taste too much. The chicken and shrimp were also quite good, the dish included 4 tortillas, I chose corn but you can get flour as well. The dish cost over $17 which I thought was pricey but the food tasted pretty good. If you're in the area, skip Carl's Jr. and try this place out! read more

Unlikely spot to find an awesome veggie burrito but I'm so happy we stumbled upon this bus! The homemade tortillas are a wonderful wrap around this substantial burrito. The veggie burrito is a celebration of vegetables rather than just the absence of meat. The outdoor seating was nice and the staff was super-friendly, well- organized, and willing to accommodate special requests. I would definitely return. read more

Where do you find good quality mexican food in a fun setting? In a converted bus in... Heyburn, Idaho! Wait... what? This was indeed a very big surprise to us. We did stop at the Love's truck stop across the street and saw this old big yellow school bus with a big "Tacos" sign. Since we love mexican food, we were intrigued enough to take a look. Honestly, I was expecting average quality mexican (when you are that far from the border) and a very basic setting. But wow, that a surprise! The conversion of the bus is amazing! Comfortable, clean and spacious, you feel very welcome in that big bus. Service is quick and friendly. The big benches on either side of the bus are making for comfortable places to wait and eat. I felt like eating some chips and salsa as appetizers and they didn't have that on the menu but their answer was "I can make you some"... and did did cooked me fresh nacho chips! Talk about an accommodating place. The food was fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend to anyone in the area, it well worth the stop! read more

Can you say ! Man the meat was full of flavor. I ordered two adobadoa and a cabesa taco and was satisfied. Tortilla needed a little more time on the flattop but was still a great taco. Well being from Cali we want things on demand, service was slow for 3 tacos I ordered here. Took about 10-15 mins and only one person ordered a burrito before me. Cool setting of a taco shop inside a school bus. I probably wouldn't eat inside because it's a narrow seating area and it does get really hot inside. Would I come back though? He'll yeah! I'm truck driver on a clock. Stopped to use the restroom at Love's and grab some food. Saw the taco bus and looked online to see when opened It said online that it opened at 8 o'clock. It was 7:15 and I had enough time to wait that long. When 8 o'clock rolled around went to grab some food. Got there to be told it would be another hour before they opened. This is actually a restaurant inside of an antique traditional yellow school bus. The food is cooked in front of you and on site yet you are not overwhelmed by the smell of food or smoke. The attendant is bilingual, which truly helps when trying to figure out what you want to order. This is truly a hidden gem and I encourage you step inside, place your order, & have a seat.
