It's a small restaurant so all the reviews saying how awful the wait was... it's sorta true. Obviously if a restaurant is small and good there's gonna be a wait. The only problem is their entrance is small and not able to hold too many inside to get away from the rain. But, my counter argument is go shop or browse! You have a bunch of stores around, put your name in and wait for the text while you browse in target! Now for the food, woah. Typically with Mexican restaurants when they look like this it's gonna be a great experience and well it still holds true. They have a wide variety of drinks, Jarritos sodas, fresh fruit drinks, margaritas, specialty alcoholic drinks, and more. I got a horchata and my brother got a strawberry drink. My horchata was refreshing and creamy. 8/10 The strawberry drink was thicker and tasted like yogurt. 6/10 STARTERS! The nachos. Oh my, if you're a big party like we were I'd suggest 2 or 3 plates of the nachos. We got the grilled chicken and MAN was that good. The chicken has such a good flavor along with the cheese sauces and lettuce. 8.9/10 ENTREES I got the steak quesadilla, the ongoing trend of this place is they do NOT skimp out on the meat. My quesadilla was jam packed with meat and cheese. My meal came with rice and beans, and wow everything had such good flavor. The rice was some of the best and typically not a bean guy but I ended up eating them as well. 8/10 The Birria Tacos. The birria was so yummy and tender, the soup that comes with was rich and flavorful. The only thing is the birria tacos is one of the few dishes that don't come with rice and beans. I also didn't love the double corn tortillas for the tacos. 7.5/10 Chicken Enchiladas Oh man the chicken. You may be sick of me saying how flavorful the meats were but ohhhh mannn! The shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was like no other. Everyone started picking from the dish because it was so good. 8/10 The burritos The burritos are huge. They aren't meant to be picked up but more eaten with a fork and knife. Such good flavor (again), and jam packed with meat (again). Big enough to share. 8/10 Shrimp Tacos 3 shrimp tacos on flour tortillas. Simple but good. Another thing with amazing flavor!! 8/10 SERVICE The service starting out was slow getting into the place like I had said before. We left, did some shopping, and came back when we got a text. Simple as that, no sense of staring at eachother and being squished in the foyer while we watch people eat. Our waiter was amazing, attentive and friendly. He joked around with us and added to our night. The food took a bit to come out but it was packed and there's only 2 chefs. But as you may infer the wait was worth it. The ambiance is hole in the wall. Best way to sum it up. Loud clubby house music aka Pitbull and Rihanna. Latino decorations, colorful, and homey. Food 9/10 Service 9/10 Ambience 8/10

I also started off with a passion fruit margarita which was delicious! The vibes in there are awesome. They do table side guac and have tons of margarita flights. We sat at the bar and the service was fast. The soft serve margarita was the purpose of my trip. I got the mango and it was awesome. It was similar to a frozen margarita but more smooth and a little creamier. Will definitely be back to try another over the summer!

Covid is hitting everybody hard in this respect, imho. I don't doubt I could have complained and gotten satisfaction, but the mistakes were delicious, lol. I dropped my debit card one day, and called a few hours later. They had it waiting for me, and asked for my id before giving it back. A small gesture, I know, but I appreciated it.
