I've lived near this Taco Bell for over 10 years. It's probably the worst one I've ever been to. A couple years ago I said I'd never go again. I have been there twice since. Now lol I will never go again. Last time they gave me the wrong food. I didn't discover till I got home. Tried calling them and the phone rings and rings.. nobody ever answers. Absolutely astonishingly horrible service. First they over charged my order by $10, they wouldn't respond to my numerous calls. Finally went to the location and asked for a manager. They wouldn't reimburse me, instead gave me two free meal coupons. But no one will accept them when I try to use them. I went to this location drive through again to try and use them, and they wouldn't take my order. I waited at the drive through for 4 minutes. I finally said enough and drove off. There was no one in line before me and the drive through guy was just staring there watching me. I called corporate 3 times, they kept saying the manager would reach out to me in 3 business days, but no one ever does. I am beyond appalled that a business can stay open like this! I give up. I must have felt like abuse for dinner, with a side of heartburn, and that's why I stopped by Taco Bell. The manager was a bundle of personality and customer service. It must have taken so much energy to repeat that order back to me, swipe my card, and then rest his arm on the register instead of handing back my card. It wasn't like I handed him a Black American Express card with a $10,000 limit on it. Maybe he lost his voice, because he never called out my ticket number. If you're going to take the risk and spend your money here, make sure you demand a receipt. We came for a family treat after a day of traveling-so it was late-nearing midnight. We ordered a 12 pack of tacos and two seven layer burritos. We live only a few blocks away, and our family of 6 was looking forward to our food. The taco shells were cold and stale! The flour tortillas with the burritos were cold and breaking when handled. My husband went right back with the tacos where the juvenile night crew refused to replace the stale tacos and asked for a receipt that they had failed to give us to begin with. I called and asked for the name of who was working the window-since they treated my husband poorly and also wanted their manager's name. They hung up on me and the line was left busy. I plan on calling tomorrow during day hours when hopefully someone with regard to customer satisfaction is available. I will never order from this location again. read more

Friendly service, and generally cleaner than other establishments of the same sort where I've dined, it IS a Taco Bell. I generally enjoy their tacos, when I want something inexpensive and fast, but this particular location is especially convenient when I am waiting for some of the nearby automotive repair locations to fix my car, or complete an oil change. They had some recently promoted items - liked the Lava sauce, didn't care for the Black Jack taco... I picked up 3 soft tacos with extra lettuce at take out window. I was charged an additional $1.17 for the additional lettuce. Not one taco had lettuce on it. When I called to discuss with store personnel, no one picked up the phone. I called twice. Also, they did NOT give me a receipt. If I could, I wouldn't rate this Taco Bell at ANYTHING! The lobby was closed so naturally I go through the drive through. The young man taking the order doesn't greet us he just asked what we wanted. When I said the number 14 he told me he can't make that. When I asked why he never answered. So I order the number 7. I had to say easy in the sauce multiple times before he got it. Then when I asked to sub the beef for chunk chicken he bluntly replied 'so no beef.' Well obviously I don't want beef. When we got to the window the young man didn't say a single word and when we politely asked for Diablo sauce he closed the window with no response, extremely rude. After we got our food and I looked in the bag one of the tacos was half unwrapped and there was cheese everywhere! There was also several hand fulls of diablo sauce when we only asked for 3-4 packets, like we was trying to be a smart a**. Everything had just been tossed in the bag. On the spectrum between "Eating to live" and "Living to Eat" this is clearly the former. That said, for the money it really is among the best you can do. I once fed four teenage girls and myself for $10.21. We didn't engorge ourselves but simply ate a meal to stay alive until our next meal. Four stars mean I am a fan of a cheap meal that is healthier than what is next door and certainly has more flavor than most fast food. Does anybody work here? Can't seem to get breakfast at the Xerxes Ave Taco Bell despite the lights being on and doors unlocked. I love TB breakfast burritos, but hate the service at this location. If I go into the store, I wait 2-3 minutes until someone peeks around the corner then summons someone else...waiting another minute. One of the last times I went to this location, after waiting they had the nerve to ask me to wait while they attended to a drive up customer that had just arrived. The LAST time I went here I decided that I'd try the drive thru...where I waiting over 3 minutes to NOT be served (I drove off). I had posted a complaint to the locations management 6 months ago and they still haven't made a dent. The McDonald's next door seems to be doing fine and never has these issues...and got my business. read more
