I ordered on the kiosk, and one man walked around the restaurant, calling names and hand delivering the food. He was very gracious and even ended up offering me free cinnamon twists. read more

Friday evening, l went into Taco Bell. I ordered my food. The young man, came to the counter, to tell me, and; the other customers that our food would be out soon. It was taking so long. Picture this - it's midnight on Saturday. The party is going well, it's a few beers in, and suddenly - suddenly! - folks start to get hungry. But there's no food. Your options: Walk to Midtown for a burger (do iiiiit!) or, find that one brave soul, your very best friend, the one person who came to a 40's party (everyone wears 40's-era costumes and drinks from 40s bottles. Right?? Brilliant!) who hasn't been drinking, and happens to have a car parked outside. Are you that person? The god-send, the utter peak of humanity, the savior of hungry lost souls who drives the car-full of... well, drunks, to get some desperately needed midnight food? If you are that person, you, sir or madam, deserve a medal. A really big medal! In the context of my story, you know who you are! You're my hero :D Of course, it's after midnight, and you're whatever kind of person who goes and gets fast-food after midnight, so you can't go inside. I hear it's lovely. But, the drive-through is also quick and easy. We read the menu, made our order, and got our absurdly large sack of food. And then we all ate it. Messily, with much rejoicing. Would do it again in a second. All the food was hot, filling, and really hit the spot. Without, you know, thinking too much about what's actually in it. The Quesalupa? Shocklingly good. It's like a pita-taco with tex-mex chicken and extra... cheese? Something like cheese. Anyway, sure hit the spot at 2 am! Literally the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life! If I could give it negative ratings I absolutely would! The employees were so rude especially Mercedes, the "manager" on duty at 2 am on 9/21/20!!! I am passing through from Texas to Michigan and had to stop with my daughter for food because it was the only thing open. I pulled up and the guy that took my order (I didn't catch his name), seemed a little frustrated with my modification so I paused between each meal to wait for him to catch up and let me know when he was ready. I ordered 3 meals. I pulled around when he said to, I was the only one in line. I get to the window and he asks for my card which I handed him and then he asks me to back up passed the sensor. He said " can you back up until I say stop because we are still making your food, we started when you ordered but you just kept ordering." That's actually what he said. Seemed a little off for someone to say to a customer but ok. I get they are on timers and I don't mind helping them out. I backed up about 6 ft and then remembered he still had my card. Waited a second to see if he would signal for me to go ahead and I just decided to pull forward and get it and if he still needed more time I would be happy to back up to help him out. He opened the window and I tried to tell him I just needed my card and I then I can go back and handed me the card and shut the door. Ok... then about 20 seconds later he handed me two bags and said that's your whole order. I said thank you and left.... the entire time in the drive through was probably less that 2-3 minutes so I'm not really sure what they were worried about. They got the food out pretty fast. I found my way back to my hotel and bam I remembered I never got my drinks. Partially my fault for not reminding them but I also got a little irritated because if they werent so worried about beating a timer maybe I would've gotten everything. I was more concerned about my debit card in the moment. So I call the Restaurant and the guy who took my order answered the phone and I asked to speak to a manager. He said "what do you need?". I said oh are you the manager? He said "what do want?". I said I'm a customer who was just there and I would like to speak to a manager. He then yells to someone named Mercedes. I hear her in the back. The guy on the phone, WITH ME STILL ON THE PHONE, then starts to mock me and says "it's a customer and she won't tell me what she wants because she wants the maaanager" all in a very condescending, childish tone. She gets on the phone and I said I'm sorry is that how your employees always handle customers? She was VERY rude as well!! When I recapped what happened she argued with and told me she told him to tell me to back up. I'm sorry but I have NEVER been told to back up at the drive through before but I was willing to do to help him I just wanted my card back first. But I tried to tell her about my drinks and then SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I tried to call back and now the number won't work! So I've either been blocked or they turn off the phone! I will definitely be contacting corporate in the morning because of this is how you treat customers for no reason, I'm in shock. I'm very patient and would have come back to get the drinks but I'm hey couldn't even talk to me. On top of that my food was awful. read more

They take one drive thru customer at a time, keeping their customer at window time down low, meanwhile there is a line of cars wrapped around the corner.
