This is the 2nd time I've been to this location and they forgot 3 or more things from my order. How embarrassing.

I'm willing to bet it's one of the best Mexican joints in MN, definitely in St. Cloud (Gilberto's is a close 2nd). While visiting my mom here frequently I am stoked this place is right around the corner from her :) Minnesotans listen up - it's all about two tacos there the Al Pastor and the Barbacoa. I also had the carne asada and carnitas, which were good, but it's the pastor and barbacoa that is clearly their speciality. The tacos are pretty big too, generous portions on everything all around. I only got tacos, but I'd suspect these are great in a burrito, quesadilla, or bowl. Order with corn tortillas (maiz) for the authentic taco taste. The tortillas are hand made I suspect, as they have a bit of a pull / chew in their bite - really good. Jose (Don Chuy) was super cool and gave me a free flour tortilla taco which was also delicious. Very welcoming and friendly guy. Jose - consider offering a California burrito on the menu - throw some French fries in that carne asada burrito ;) I'll def be coming here as I make my annual MN pilgrimage and won't feel too far from home with some legit tacos. You're a sucker if you're getting your Mexican elsewhere in this area, so give it a try. Thanks Jose!

The burrito was very hefty, for me that is almost 4 meals. Loved that some entrees came with chips and guac. The spicy sauce that came with was very spicy so be careful but so delicious. The horchata was a bit disappointing, I've had it before but forgot what it was like, it just tasted like a sweet milk. No cinnamon taste. But it was still delicious. So easy to order at the kiosk. There are only a couple tables in the gas station if you want to eat in otherwise most people just take out. Few tables were set up outside too. The gas station is filled with drinks and snacks so it's easy to browse for extras while you wait for your food. It's a literal hole in the wall inside this gas station. I only wish the hours were better, whenever we get a craving for this it's always closed so we have to take advantage when they are open. Can't wait to try their other locations.

I had so-so birria tacos (no consomme, single soft-corn tortilla) and so-so horchata (served in a sealed bag that looks like an IV pouch, actually kind of funny), along with a tasty and particularly juicy elote. My friend got the Asada Mulita and he quite enjoyed it. That seemed like a good deal for $9, and $4.90 per taco for what I got is okay. The ambiance absolutely does not rise above what you would expect from an unremarkable, utilitarian convenience store with a few tables that aren't routinely wiped down. You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.

Our favorite is their live music nights, but any time we can stop in, we enjoy the extra considerate service with our kiddos and see them bring that to every customer. They even have many breakfast options, so we are big fans of that option. Their salsa is one of my favorites around. The place is cute on the inside, too. I can't pick a favorite dish, but the kids particularly enjoy their asada fries or bean tacos. Show this place some love!

I payed the extra and she told me it was going to a five minute wait ( also fine ) I waited 8 mins and went back in and she said it'll be a few for minutes. Overall I was excited to try it and was grateful she called to tell me they were out of the elote , but it really frustrated me that I had to pay extra after she told me I didn't and you didn't have what I wanted in stock . The wings should've been replaced without extra charge because of your inconvenience.
