After a while of eating at this restaurant, I will no longer go back. The past couple of times, when we ordered the nachos, the bowl of cheese was only half full. Not my major concern. We ordered from them tonight and asked that they made sure the containers of cheese had enough cheese. They did do that. But I got home to find they left out an item. My husband went back to the missing item, they replaced it with no problem. Now my issue is that I found 2 very long, dark strands of hair in my food. I started working in Midwest City last week and everyone has been RAVING about taco casa. I was told that I absolutely had to try their tacos. Omg they were RIGHT! They are not only generous with their fillings but they are also quality and fresh! I have been twice now and the food is also super warm and consistently delicious. The meat tastes like real beef and the cheese tastes freshly grated. They have possibly the best crunchy taco shells I have ever tried. Someone gave me a taco burger the other day to try and it was delicious as well. I only work in MWC until the end of this month but I need to go as much as I can while I'm there. They get an additional star for two reasons: 1. they offer a Chilada. Think enchilada + black olives. Yum. And 2. their music was great -- Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, other classic rock n roll. It just made lunch better. I thought the taco was pricey, but it was extra long and very tasty, so it was worth it. The shell was crunchy fresh and the meat was good. Everything is just as it was when I originally reviewed a year ago. Only thing different is it seems they're getting more business. Lots of people here today even at 1:30, a little past working folks lunch time. Still very clean, in the kitchen, register area, and dining room. Really rude person at the window. The line was super long but they still tried to wait until we pulled off before opening the window to us again. Then they yanked the window open and refused to speak to us. Just really rude. Food is overpriced and they made it so bad I didn't even eat it. Waste of $8. Didn't want to ask for a refund because they were already so rude. I got 2 bean burritos and asked them to add queso. They put so much queso it was gross. They put more queso than they did beans and then didn't even put the spicy sauce it's supposed to come with. Disappointing because it's the only Taco Casa around but I just won't go back. I'm not going to pay to be treated bad and waste money on food I'm not going to eat. read more

They have great customer service & greet with a smile :D They have Super Specials on their Super menu items every Tuesday... with such great food and deals I get 2 specials!! They offer 99 Cent ice tea every day and even offered a glass of water while I waited for my to go order. They had a good amount of employees who I saw working to make orders & clean... nice to see, working employees, since I see other restaurants where employees care more about hanging out and chatting instead of taking care of their customers... I don't think I'll go back to the 'Bell' as long as there's abTaco Casa. This food reminds me of Taco Bell in the 1970's when I was in college. Back when they were good but slightly pricier. Taco Casa's tacos are a in very crispy white cornmeal shell, you can recognize the meat as ground beef, the cheese has a good flavor and the lettuce is fresh. The tostada was tasty with allot of cheese and the bottom shell 'held up' without falling apart. I had a Chilada that was a very stuffed ground beef enchilada covered in a light but flavorful red sauce and that great grated cheese. I was unable to eat it all in one setting and the leftovers tasted good even 2 hours later when nuked. Nothing got soggy or fell apart after setting like Taco Bell's do. The soda had a good flavor and didn't taste watered down. I did order it 'easy ice'. I now know why the 'drive thru' line was so long. Luckily that had 2 merging car lanes. Everything looked like the advertisement pictures. I tried three different items and all were great. I live in Shawnee and had noticed they were building a new store. Tuesday's usually feature a discount on the Super menu items. Thursday's are Throwback Thursdays with discounts on crunchy tacos. I love the tacos. They are always so fresh. I like that they separate the toppings on the to-go nachos so they aren't soggy when you get them home. I wish they had better nacho cheese instead of the stadium type cheese they have now. The drive-thru is always quick. They have a small menu but what they have is good. They have good sweet tea too that you can get by the gallon. I always order mine half-and half (half sweet, half unsweet) so it's less sweet. read more
