Okay let me break this down for yall. This is hands down the best authentic burrito/torta/taco/etc. place that I have been to in the States. First, everything is made fresh. From the tortilla for your burrito to the delicious creamy green salsa (also red salsa available), everything is made in-house. The ingredients are all fresh and the meats are cooked the day of to be served throughout the day. Price is very reasonable. A local favorite for Austin College and Grayson county students. The Taco Bus is located right outside of Sherman,TX and is a bit of the drive from Austin College campus, but well worth it. I have only tried the torta sandwich and was hooked immediately. This place is not for the clean freaks however. The couple literally cooks the meals in the back of the bus and hands it to you to sit in front part of the bus where each side (left and right) has a counter and chairs. Try everything twice. My current favorite is the spicy beef quesadilla. It's gotta be the best quesadilla I've ever had. I always get the spicy beef quesadilla with everything and it never disappoints. The green sauce just insanely good and pretty spicy. I don't know if I can eat anywhere else now. Also, the prices are great for the quality of the food you get. I need a Taco Hondumex T-shirt so I can advertise because this is definitely a hidden gem. The first time I drove by after seeing this on yelp I didn't stop because I wasn't sold on buying tacos inside a school bus. Today, I'm glad I did! Don't pass this place up. We were intrigued by the idea of being able to eat in the bus. We, along with everyone else in America is having a love affair with food trucks. You do have an option to eat outside under a canopy at Taco's Bus, and you can always get it to go (I observed very fast service), but here you CAN eat inside the bus as well. You step inside a custom screen door, and there are narrow countertops with cafe chairs running down both sides of the bus. The owner greeted us with a welcoming smile. We didn't arrive until almost 4pm, and the lunch crowd had cleaned them out of masa. We ordered two tacos, and a burrito, with two tall icy cold cokes. People, words alone, cannot describe how good the food was! And the homemade salsa's - excellent! On our way back to Oklahoma, we will be stopping back by to get some tamales (12 for $12). Hands down best Mexican food in North Texas - hidden little gem in the parking lot of a liquor store.

This location will make any yelp hipster excited. I was in town and was hungry for tacos and happened to fortunately find this place. I had the spicy beef tacos and burrito, and definitely had to take back leftovers. The burritos are HUGE, like so big that you'll think they messed up your order and gave you an extra burrito. The environment is unique and you can either eat on or outside of the bus under a small tent area. It seems family owned and they were all very nice. Overall the food was pretty delicious, the beef had a decent taste, the spices helped, although I'm also not a big fan of refried beans, so if I were to go back I would hold off on getting those on the tacos. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a secret little Mexican food place, it's a hidden Denison gem. read more

I was expecting a meal and ended up with a laughable snack for lunch. It really just made me sad to think i didn't want to return because they were skimping on the meat and condiments. This place is a hidden gem inside Sherman. My personal favorite is the chicken quesadilla. Seriously you have to try this place it does not get better than the bus! My one criticism would be that the hours are really weird and its always a gamble of they'll be open or not. I just saved their number in my phone and call before hand to see which bus they are at/if they are open. Also you WILL become addicted to the green sauce. 10/10. read more

Usually one of my favorites but today the tamels are dough and are very dry let only the fact the two lady's that waited on me were most interested in their Facebook than waiting me.. When asked who has best tamales I always recommend this place but will try again one more time before I write them off compeletly.
