It has been a long time since I last visited Taco John's, primarily because this establishment has unfortunately experienced a noticeable decline in both food quality and service after new management took over. Today I decided to go in hopes of some improvements. The only good part of this experience was the customer service. The bathroom and sitting area was pretty clean but the trash can by the door was completely stuffed full and overflowing. The quality of their food hasn't changed at all and is just as disappointing as it was before. I could have eaten my entire soft shell taco in two bites with the amount of beef it was lacking. The potato oles are, in my opinion, the best part of my meal here but today they were not. The outside was very dark in color, crunchy, and hard with a heavy taste of grease. While the insides were not done at all, making me wonder if the frying oil is ever changed. I use to love eating at Taco John's but nothing about the food makes me want to come back here. It's always the same disappointing experience for me. I hope sometime in the near future this place realizes it and does something about it! read more

Asked for a water cup and the lady asked for 15 cents. like it's water free? is this even legal very disappointing... I was also not given the sour cream I ordered. Lady again tried to charge me $1.40. And the one she gave me was a half cup already eaten out of. I will not be returning to this location!! read more

Getting pricey, but the Shrimp Tacos are very good. Always great service and an especially clean facility. Enjoy reading the daily paper and doing puzzle there.....big draw for me. read more

Unfortunately my review is not like the other for this restaurant. If you do not like certain items or sauces on your taco/burrito or any other meal please check before leaving the establishment. I will never understand when it's slow how someone can screw up an order. I would suggest waiting for a order from a restaurant that serves Hispanic food or making it from hand before going here. read more

As far as fast food, it is about as good as it gets in Beatrice. VERY rarely is there an error with our orders. Friendly and fast. Love the new updated location and lot. read more

I enjoy the food at this local fast food Tex-Mex place. My favorites are the super burrito (without olives or refried beans) smothered in nacho cheese, taco salad (no olives), the taco burger, the stuffed grilled taco (no olives or beans - are you sensing a theme here?), crispy tacos, and an occasional chicken quesadilla. The taco shells are made fresh for the taco salads and they make a good accompaniment to the delicious salad mix of taco meat, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, cheddar cheese and salsa. You get your choice of dressing, however, I put on my own Dorothy Lynch at home. They used to have it as one of their choices, but no more. The staff is friendly and most of the time they get your order correct. They lack consistency with the crispy shells for their tacos, Sometimes they taste stale and are definitely not crispy and they're inconsistent in the amount of taco meat and cheese you receive. However, they are never stingy with the lettuce. I wish they would flip that around, because when they get them right, they're yummy. (I always add sour cream.) If you're still reading and like a breakfast burrito, theirs is outstanding. I the Scrambler with bacon. They include so many good things that Im not going to list them all. The food was great! however the customer service was NOT satisfactory at all! First he didnt even offer me my receipt (not that big of a deal but should of at least gave me it or attempted to) then I had a question regarding the Rewards App it said since I signed up with Facebook I was eligible for free small potato olays and there was also a BOGO offer for the Quesadilla Taccos neither was on the rewards screen and no option under the offers screen (where it was) he said the app takes you right through it (he seemed annoyed by it) I found that to be unprofessional but I guess what can you expect from a Fast Food place now a days when even the Manager is rude to the customers when all I had was a simple question and wasnt rude I did thank him for the food even didnt even say anything! read more
