Soft taco plate with pick & salsa!
    Katrina B.

I don't know how this place only has 3.9 stars!! Seriously. I've been eating their breakfast burritos for a couple years now & the consistency, large portion & flavor is always amazing!! The employees are friendly and the wait is usually about 10 minutes.. which I've been appreciating more as a pregnant lady who becomes starving at just the thought of good food sometimes!! I just brought my husband here, he's from the south, & this is his new favorite place to get Mexican in the area. He tried it and immediately texted his friends telling them to stop by and check it out. He is so picky about his rice and Taco Work's rice is SO fluffy and SO DELICIOUS!! & he never orders beans but really enjoys their refried beans! We've been getting their soft taco plate with beef. Which are their street tacos. They are SO good! I tried mine with salsa and my husband got it on the side .. there's definitely a little kick to the verde salsa!!

It's takin some time to visit these taco trucks and I'm sorry it did, No more Taco Bell these guys got then beaten hands down! Enchilada plate won't let you down! Tacos hard or soft are busting full of good stuff, I'll be supporting them from now on! Been to best ave and government way haven't been disappointed!

They still have great $1 tacos on Tuesday! Beef is outstanding, the rest is ok. I love their green sauce too.

Delicious burrito. It was gooey, so have lots of napkins. A small sacrifice when the food is that tasty.

Of course, he went with the classic cheese steak to see what their original was like before delving into the other specialty ones they offer. I ordered the Dirty Hippie, which has no meat--double portions of both mushrooms and grilled onions, jalapenos, cheddar cheese and ranch on a fresh baked roll. For my sweet tooth, I also got a "Pop's brownie." The Dirty Hippie to me tasted pretty much like a cheese steak, but with no meat. So, they did do a good job of mimicking a real cheese steak. It was super hot, cheese was melted, and definitely noticed the double portion of veggies. The grilled onions had a good taste, however, they were really long and stringy, which reminded me of string spaghetti lol. Sandwich can get a little messy, prepare yourself with some napkins, and don't let it sit or it'll get soggy from the juices. My roommate thought his cheese steak was average, not bad but not the best he's ever had either. Pop's brownie was chocolatey and moist and a great way to end a flavorful lunch. The shack is located in a convenient spot and the lot has ample parking. Service was great. The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days! I'm a cash-type of person anyway, but bring cash if you don't want to be charged $1 to use your card.

I don't say this lightly: this might be **the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had in my life**…read more From the moment it came out, you could smell the sizzling steak and melted cheese before even taking the first bite. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside but still soft and pillowy inside, holding everything together without falling apart. The steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, chopped just right so every bite had the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and bread. And the cheese... perfectly melted into the steak so it coated every bite instead of just sitting on top. That first bite was one of those moments where you pause for a second because it's just *that good*. By the halfway point I was already thinking about when I could come back for another one. I love "Mom" who is always friendly and fun to talk to while waiting. Please keep in mind each sandwich is made to order so please anticipate a little wait BUT WORTH EVERY minute of it. If you're a Philly cheesesteak fan, this place is absolutely worth the trip. Bold statement, but this sandwich sets the bar.

The food looked beautiful and we got the Box OG (pork), elote cup, mulita and TJ sticks. For the pork tacos, you don't really taste the pickled red onions much. I almost wish they had a stronger flavor because really all you taste is the pork and whatever salsa you put on. The creamy cilantro salsa was very good but we could definitely pass on the spicy roja, the flavor just wasn't for us. The pork itself was okay. As for the elote cup, I think we're a little spoiled after having elote in Arizona which was absolutely life changing. Because of that it's hard to say this one was amazing. It felt more like a watery cup of roasted corn. The cheese on top was good but once you got past that it kind of tasted like canned corn. Our 3 year old liked the mulita which was a win. The TJ sticks didn't seem fresh so they were just okay. Overall it was decent for the area but we've definitely had better. The building is newer looking and nicely kept, just watch out for the big pothole when entering the parking lot. Also their website says they're closed on Saturdays but they were open when we went and we let the drive thru employee know. Service was friendly enough.

I've been looking for a meal prep place to help cut down on the amount of cooking I have to do and, since I don't eat fast food, I luckily came across COPOW!!! Aside from CAPWOW being fun to say, the food is great! Huge selection of healthy meals (fully labeled with nutrition information, organic ingredients, no seed oils or ingredients you have to sound out to pronounce) that mostly just need to be heated up (some meals you can eat cold). CAPOW!!! The meals all have super high quality packaging, are proportioned well, have high quality ingredients, great taste, good variety and, while a little pricey, are justified in their price due to the ease to make and high quality ingredients that are used. CAPOW!!! This is a professional, clean, well run establishment. Before finding them, I tried using one of their competitors. The competitors food was not the best, the person stationed at the counter would stare at me while I shopped and say things, seemingly to themself out loud, like "I wonder how many meals they'll buy..." while creepily staring at me. I would nervously laugh and pretend those remarks didn't happen. However, I got there and the guy asked if I had done a call ahead order. I told him that I hadn't that I was just walking up for dinner. He then told me that they might not be able to make me dinner because they had so many orders. This means they're a victim of their own success, and that's a good problem for them to have, but it doesn't make for a great dining experience. He ended up asking me what I wanted to order, which I thought was a little odd after he had told me that they probably weren't going to be able to serve me. I told him, and he told me that they could probably "fit me in" but it that it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. So I waited. To be fair, they did eventually get me my sushi. It was good, not great. They did this thing that I don't really appreciate where they put wasabi in the rolls. Not that I don't like wasabi, but don't put wasabi in the role or on my individual pieces of sushi. The last thing about this place that I would say, is that it is quite expensive. I understand that sushi is always expensive, but there is less expensive just as good sushi options in Coeur d'Alene other than this location. It's also just a food truck, which I think is super cool, but it's in a shared parking lot, and there's not really any outdoor seating. So this is definitely a to-go location. I would definitely go back if somebody else wanted to check it out, I don't know that I would make a special trip to revisit this location.

We were greeted and immediately taken to a cute booth with beautiful scenery painted on the table and hand painted flowers on the back of the booths. It was nicely bright and a welcoming atmosphere. Our server, Billie, took our drink order, dropped off warm chips and 2 salsas: hot and mild, and gave us time to look over the menu. Both salsas were tasty and of course, I preferred the spicy one. Also it just hit better with the warm homemade tortilla chips. I went with my fav drink of Horchata and liked how they noted 1 refill. The horchata was ice cold and delicious--it didn't have that waxy taste like some horchatas I've had before. I ordered the #33 Spicy Shrimp with Rice and Beans and my roommate got the daily special of 1 Enchilada and 1 Taco with Rice and Beans and with a cup of chicken tortilla soup. My roommate LOVED the soup and said it was chunks of chicken vs shredded chicken. He really liked the flavor and plans to get it again. Our plates arrived super hot, which I'm a fan of--I'd rather wait for my food to cool down some vs your first bite being luke-warm. The shrimp wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, and that's partially my fault because I should have asked about the spice level. I like and can handle a lot of heat lol. Nonetheless, the shrimp had great flavor and the guacamole was bright and fresh and so good. The hot corn tortillas with the HOT rice and beans just paired so well together. My roommate tends to get the same plate, just at different restaurants. He said his combo plate was a winner and really liked the season on the rice. Billie did a fabulous job taking care of us today and we'll definitely be back.
