The portion was enough to share between 2 people. We also got the sweet plantains. They were crispy on the edges and soft in the middle - exactly the way it should be. First, the folks working on the truck were so nice. The gentleman smoking the meats on the back shared in small talk with my husband about grilling and smoking while we waited for our food. We ended up grabbing two of each empanada: pizza, beef and chicken. We were apprehensive about how they would be (its easy to screw up an empanada and pizza sounded unusual) but we ended up floored by how delicious they were. The empanada dough was soft and delightful and fried perfectly; not greasy or dry. Perfection. The beef empanada was great and very typical beef empanada flavoring and texture. The chicken was a huge surprise for us because chicken tends to be bland and dry in empanadas but this chicken was so juicy and flavorful (we suspected it may have been smoked before being shredded) and we were thrilled. The pizza empanada was the most unusual one but we both absolutely loved the flavor and it was a fast favorite for both of us. The cheese and tomato sauce was combined into a fabulous creamy texture inside of the empanada and we were so impressed. We also both loved our drinks: pink lemonade and passion fruit juice. We look forward to going back and trying more soon! Highly recommend based on our experience.

The party was held outdoors in their pretty yard under a tent. Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!

I got the bacon you crazy hotdog which is a wagyu frank, coleslaw, and a special chipotle sauce (from what I remember) it came with a side of fries for $6. It was AMAZING. I LOVE hot dogs and this might have been the best I've ever had. It had a nice snap when you bite into it and the Cole slaw was a nice cool touch to the hot dog and bun. If you see this truck, check it out! They sell a wide variety of things such as grilled cheese with honey, caramelized bacon on a stick, a burger with egg on top and more!
