I can't overstate how much we loved this place! I went to Mexico City with my vegan husband…read morerecently and was so pleasantly surprised with just how many vegan options there were within the city. I am not vegan, so I normally search for a place that has both but this place was so close to our hotel, it was hard to resist. Genuinely- I was blown away, even as an omnivore. Everything was really affordable and quick and I managed to snap a pic of the tacos I ordered, even though my husband devoured his torta before I could document it. We came back for lunch the next day. It's relatively small, but there is seating inside and outside and it is pretty fast, so spots open up quick. If you are vegan or with a vegan- don't miss out on this spot!

We came here on our first night back in CDMX to try this place's vegan food, but it may seem that…read morenot all of their food (deserts) are vegan. We tried the vegan milanesa, al pastor, and suadero tacos, which come with onion and cilantro; and guacamole with chips. When we first arrived we were seated right away. The food came out fairly decently, but all at different times. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, but neither space is very big. The service was a little mixed; one waitress seemed to initially have a negative attitude, but then later was fine; the other waitress who helped us was more friendly; I'll chalk it up to the fact that it was a Sunday night one hour before closing. The food itself tasted good, but nothing out of this world. This place has a punk rock vibe. Overall, I would potentially come back.

Edgar was our waiter and he was super awesome! Food- one of my favorite meals while in Mexico City! We didn't order much because we were full from a meal before but ordered what we could. What we got: MUST HAVE AGAIN: 1. If you like octopus: Tacos de carnitas de pulpo (fried octopus carnitas). This didn't seem fried but oh my gosh it was SO tender and fresh and flavorful! Our whole table LOVED this. Highly recommend. 2. Scallop tostadas!! SO fresh/refreshing! 3. Fig Tart- It was so good! Tasted kind of like a fig cheesecake. We heard it was the most popular desert and got lucky because our waiter Edgar saved it for us!! Thank you so much Edgar! Tasty but would go for something else next time: 1. Tacos de esmedregal al pastor: Al pastor fish, onions, cilantro, pineapple I didn't get the soft shell crab taco but heard it was delicious so thought I'd toss that here!

Pues, here's the food review: Japanese oysters 9/10 - they're usually smaller elsewhere Best tostadas de atun I've ever had. Crispy and the fish was perfect texture. 10/10 Shrimp tacos 7/10 - not salted well. Tuna croquette 7.5/10 - kinda dry Contramar fish 7/10 - I wanted to like it but it was also not well salted and it was dry.
