First time coming here, and we sat at the outside table. It was a beautiful day, so it's definitely something to take advantage of. Our server was so nice and did such a wonderful job. We ordered a side of guac and chips. I don't know how they make their guacamole, but it's fantastic and they need to jar it up and sell it to me. I have never seen guacamole blended so thin before. It had a great taste with a bit of a kick. I ordered the pizza looking taco, huge portion with a dipping substance in a cup that was hot. 10 out of 10. I definitely wanna go back and order this again. It was a lot of food and I ended up eating it again for dinner that night. Everything about the experience of eating here was phenomenal and I highly recommend checking this place out because you will not be disappointed. Two of us enjoyed a delicious meal of various tacos: Americana, California, Mexican, and shrimp. It was nice to try different types of tacos, and the ingredients were nice and fresh. We also had a side of beans and rice. The beans were standout some of the best we've ever had. The rice was also good. My dinner partner had a pork tamale and enjoyed that as well. A basket of chips and a little salsa was also provided as part of our meal. There were two types of salsa. The red salsa was more of the traditional type that I'm used to and had a smokey flavor. The other was sort of yellow looking and very spicey. We also had some flavored iced tea that was very good. We will be returning. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining items on the menu. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars just because the ambiance is a little lacking. It's pretty small inside. However, it seems to be clean, and plan to return and try more items on the menu. read more

These are the best tacos I've had in South Florida (lived in Broward for 8+ years). We stopped here on a rainy Sunday night around 8pm on the way back from Gainesville. Tacos and Beer is in a strip mall and has both sit down and take out service. We ate at the counter. Our server was friendly. We ordered the birria taco plate (3) tacos + consommé), then 2 carnitas, and 1 each of chorizo, and al pastor. All were delicious. My husband ordered a Modelo Negro and I had and Aqua Fresca. SCW and I have been wanting to stop into Tacos & Beer for some time now. Well we finally did. We are both vegetarian and were a little bit skeptical about looking at the menu online, but a couple of reviews mentioned vegetarian/vegan options here. They do have them, however they aren't on the main menu. So when you come into the restaurant it's very open and inviting. We were invited to sit wherever we wanted. We arrived after the typical lunch rush time and before dinner so it was pretty quiet. On the chalkboard above the bar is where we found veggie options. In our case they had a vegan beyond tacos combo (3) which you can make any style (Mexican, Californian, American or Volcanes). SCW had them Californian while I ordered 3 veggie tacos with beans American style. While we were looking over the menu chips and salsa arrived. The salsas here are incredibly good. We really enjoyed the green jalapeno verde? I think it was called. You can get more salsas for an additional charge, which in the future we absolutely will as they are really really good. The tacos themselves were so tasty. the beyond vegan tacos (SCW let me have one) were incredibly well seasoned and delicious. My veggie tacos were very good. The flavors were great. The tortillas were flavorful. We also got Mexican street corn (special) and oh wow was it good. Incredibly flavorful and savory. The service was great. A little awkward trying to ask about vegetarian/vegan options but found what we wanted. The menu here is definitely meat centered but don't shy away if you are vegetarian or vegan as they do have options. We will be back to Tacos & Beer! read more

I just stopped in for some dinner and wanted to have a beer with dinner. I had the Shrimp Fajitas. You couldn't have asked for better tasting food and plenty of it. The shrimp's were large and plenty. They provided me with a sweet sauce for the shrimp that was delicious. I also was served a A avocado/ jalapeno sauce that was excellent as well. We did a to go order and upon arrival the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The staff was so nice to my daughter and I. With a name like 'tacos and beer' I was worried it would be Texmex but when I got home and opened the boxes I was very pleased to see yummy authentic Mexican food. Wow finally authentic Mexican restaurant, Just got a tattoo at Nevermore Tattoo studio , ( other end of shopping plaza ) Stephanie highly recommend ! Anyway, I'm new to Port St. Lucie and Stephanie highly recommend it to taco shell so of course I stopped in , Gigi greeted me with the biggest smile and help me with the menu, I had two of the pork shredded pork tacos that were so flavorful and delicious and I had the fresh guacamole and chips and their homemade salsa! Everything was so authentic, which I have been waiting for since I moved here I could never find a good Mexican restaurant in here it is , it's not fancy, there is outside seating in the front of the store and it's very quaint inside very clean and had lots of regulars, so that is the first key to let you know how good it is. As tacos and beer are a great combination, we decided to pay this place a little visit. Outdoor seating is always nice in Florida, especially when it's a gorgeous sunny winter day ;-) so we were happy to see some tables outside. The menu didn't offer much for vegans, and little more for vegetarians, so we ordered a freshly made guacamole to share and a drink. The guac was fresh indeed and tast, but I missed serrano or jalapeño pepper in it. There was no hot salsa on the few tables outside nor pepper and salt. It was however a nice snack and if you want to go for a stroll beforehand or after, a river boardwalk on the St Lucie River starts about right there. read more

I love this little taco restaurant and bar. The tacos are amazing and unbelievably flavorful. At about $3.50 a taco, i'd say they are well worth it. I like that there are 4 different taco style options, I always go with mexican style steak with added queso fresco! The horchata is a great addition and is always delicious and creamy. The only negative about this place is that customer service isn't always great and can be very slow. There is a language barrier sometimes and some employees prioritize the phone rather than customers right in their face. Other than that, I appreciate this place and highly recommend it! read more

Food was excellent! Just about anything on the menu is made to perfection. Small tacos but packed with so much flavor! Service is very welcoming and gentle. It's a hole in the wall type of restaurant, one that I'm glad is getting such high reviews and notoriety! They're very simple, almost homemade entrees so don't expect anything too fancy or unique. Two problems! One major issue is the bathroom, smells horrendous! It didn't permeate into the dining area while I was there, which is why it didn't hinder my enjoyment of eating, just when someone needs to use the restroom I wouldn't be surprised if they'd lose their appetite. And the prices went up, at least give slightly bigger portions in the food (specifically the tacos) if that's going to be the case. I come to the Dry Cleaners and I asked Monica where I could find some legit Street Taco's. Well folks! This be the place! Their spicy quacamole queso salsa is bomb. The hot sauce could be hotter but seriously people, they're food is soooo good. Best bang for your buck is their everyday special of 5 Taco's for $11 with the choice of 2 meats. Their Carnitas are likely the best I've tasted since arriving to PSL 2 years ago. I'm spoiled as I'm originally from SoCal and Mexican food is everywhere!
