We accidentally arrived at this restaurant at 7:30, not knowing it closed at 8. Nevertheless, we were still greeted warmly and given outstanding service. Our waiter was incredibly nice and quick to explain menu items and give recommendations. The food itself was delicious. All of the dishes were great and there was a whole section of the menu dedicated to vegetarian options that were not less delicious than the meaty menu items . Really really good. On top of that, the restaurant was decorated beautifully and gave a very nice dinner vibe. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I recommend checking this place out! read more

You could almost miss it on the side of the road except for the little round sign in the air. I wasn't sure if it was open, but a ring of the door bell led to someone coming to open the door. The humble outsides and barely existent parking were quickly overshadowed by the whimsical and colorful insides. With a QR code for a menu, and still lacking enough Spanish language to be fluent, I was happy to find my English was welcomed when navigating my order. Recommendations to enhance a basic margarita with grapefruit, ginger, and tajin followed and I accepted with the surprise of some extra floral petals added in. The craft beer brewing company based off the area Boqueron (but actually brewed in Wisconsin) was offered and both selections- Crash Boat and Caja de Muerto had a creamy butterscotch profile on top of the IPA and lager flavors. To satisfy cravings for a shared vegan snack, an order of corn chips with Pico de gallo, refried beans (vegan they said), and guacamole. They probably can make some creative avocado, rice, Pico and bean burritos and tacos too, but I was on my way before I could try more. read more

Tacos & Flowers was one of our absolute favorite stops during our 10-day trip to Puerto Rico. We visited on our way to the bioluminescent bay in La Parguera. With many places in Puerto Rico having limited reviews, we often didn't know what to expect--but Tacos & Flowers exceeded all our hopes. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted at the door. Although we arrived early, traveling from Rincón to La Parguera, the restaurant quickly filled up with both tourists and what seemed to be locals. Imagine your favorite coffee shop started serving tacos. The inside is decorated like an Artisan little coffee shop, colorful and spacious, with simple decor. The food screams "delicious" and won't break your wallet. Absolutely great find! I was skeptical of the lack of reviews but so glad I put it into the mix on my vacation. I wish I discovered it sooner as I would have gone back. The Pico is a bit bland as a salsa but that's my only complaint in an otherwise splendid experience. Fish tacos were lightly battered and airy. The pieces of fish were oversized and definitely more than you need for each taco. You get your money's worth. Hot sauces were good. I recommend mixing the spicest one with the next level down to get a good consistency. I like my sauce thick but not too much like a paste. OVERALL: definitely worth a stop when you're in the area. So good! tip: the place is easy to miss. The sign is so small. Parking lot is only enough for 3 or 4 cars and on a steep incline, but it seems making your own parking spot in PR is widely done. Our favorite dinner of our trip to Puerto Rico, so much I forgot to take pictures! The restaurant is very eccentric with a mix of decor you can look at all night. Food was plentiful, we were no where close to finishing everything, but it was delicious. Great bar menu too, and our waitress was very attentive. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone's trip to the west coast. read more

With a very modest exterior it would be very easy to drive past this place and not give it a second thought. Don't do that because you'll be missing out!! Our family stopped here for lunch on the way back from the beach, the kids were unsure but we pressed on and so glad we did. Ice cold beer, delicious margaritas and every dish we ordered was cooked fresh with perfect balance of flavor. Everyone in our family was stoked with their meal choice stating it was "one of the best meals ever eaten out". The restaurant was quiet when we walked in but got busier as our meal progressed. Service was excellent. Or server was very accommodating of our lack of Spanish and made sure our order was just as we wanted. We hope to get back there again before we leave Puerto Rico. read more

Great food, fantastic service and beautifully decorated. Drinks and food are generous and delicious! Prices are great too! We ordered fish tacos a vegetarian enchilada and a veggie dish prepared with sautéed vegetable and melted cheese on a bed of mashed cassava. Omg! It was all so good! But the best part are the owners Nando and Vanso. Great couple that make you feel like you're at their home. The place is decorated beautifully, paintings art work and lighting all done by the talented Vanso. Come see and eat here and you'll keep coming back! read more

Extremely bad experience, safe yourself the time and take your money somewhere else. I traveled from Masachussetts to PR to celebrate my birthday. I called this place to make a reservation for nine and was told they dont make reservations but we could just show up at any time. When we showed up the staff refused to give us a table and asked us to leave the table we were already seating because... guess what THEY WERE reserving the TABLE for another group!!! Bad costumer services and poor business management! Went to Pika Pika right next door was able to accomodate all of us and provided us with great food and friendly service! read more
