Hands down best tripa tacos I have ever had!!! Period. From the United States to Mexico! Super "hole in a wall" place. They only open in the evening. I believe after 8pm. And there's usually a line waiting for them to open. Might be because they use the parking space if a business.
They have all the trimmings for you. Radish, lemons, 6-7 different kinds of sauces and spices on top of grilled onions and sliced grilled cactus (nopal).
We had about 12 tacos and 2 quesadillas between 3 of us. And agua horchata. Horchata was homemade, good consistency and not too sweet.
For the quesadillas they grill/melt the cheeses directly on the plancha then add the ingredients on top. Almost like queso fundió. Basically the cheese is the tortilla. So good.
Oh and the meats. They have great options and you can't go wrong. My parents frequent tacos el paisa often. They found it when the way were hosting and took some friends to the casino across the street. Now they make it to these tacos when in town. I'm a fan now too and will for sure be back!!! read more
