From the outside, this restaurant does not scream Best Mexican in Garden City. This is quite a shame because this is the BEST MEXICAN food in Garden City. I ordered three tacos in my normal fashion, chicken, Al pastor, and carnitas. Normally, I like one more than another. Again, SURPRISE!! All three were fantastic. Amazing flavor for all. Incredibly satisfying. I also had the queso (yum) and their salsa. The place may be small, but so very friendly. They checked on me a couple of times. Super sweet. I would definitely recommend!

I will warn you the salsa that was on the side for the tacos had a lot more kick. If you like spice, I would try it. If you are heat-adverse, I recommend asking for the salsa they serve with the chips to go with your tacos. Tacos also came with grilled onion if requested; and cilantro, lime, and 2 different spicy salsas that come on the side. They also have a couple flavors of fresh made agua fresca to drink.

My first visit here I got chips and salsa, which is automatic with every table and then I ordered queso dip and guacamole. I also ordered tostadas. The queso dip and guacamole came out immediately however an hour passed, and they still had not brought my tostadas. I informed the server that I understood they were busy, but I would no longer want the tostadas. He told me to hold on. He would be right back and he came back with the tostadas. I continued to tell the server I no longer want the tostadas. It had been an hour for one tostada. The best part was the mariachi band playing. My second visit I got guacamole, queso dip, and automatically everything comes with chips and salsa . The guacamole was just mashed avocado. There was nothing in it. I had none of the other ingredients. I sat at the bar this time the bartender was not around. Unfortunately, this restaurant has great potential, but the lack of service and quality of food is a no go for me to return a third time.

I spoke to the girl with a great smile behind the counter and specifically asked whats in the burrito (cuz I'm not in Daygo anymore). Sue said, "meat, rice, beans, onions." Oops not authentic enough for me. I asked to add guacamole, she confirmed my guacamole add. I was charged for guacamole. I got no guacamole. Unfortunately I had taken the burrito to go. I ate this burrito and it was very dry, it did have a nice spice kick, but overall not even close to a real burrito imo. Srsly no guacamole to the very end. No cap. I ordered a burrito with no rice and asked for avocado which I payed extra for the kind woman who brought out my order told me to check it and I did. Told me to let her know if there was no avocado. But my burrito also had rice and so I went up and told her like she asked me to. It started a fight with the guy who made the burrito he came out and verbally attacked me in front of my sister and the other customers that were sitting there as well as the ladies that took the order. The ladies apologized for the way he acted but after that I didn't feel comfortable sitting there so I left. I would have understood if I went up there attacking them first but the little chef guy was going through a menopause episode. The lady who took my order came out and said that it's because they lack communication sometimes. I understand but at the same time I wasn't asking for a new burrito. All I asked for was avocado. The owners are great people so I would never do anything to hurt their reputation. Just one person ruined the restaurant for me.
