Tacos Lindas gets a lot of great reviews. And i'm not 100% sure why. Service was really, really slow. Like even for Mexico slow. When they finally decided to talk to us they were friendly enough and then we waited another 30 min for 6 tacos. The Huitlacoche was canned and didnt really offer much in the taste department. We also tried the squash blossom which were more sauce than blossom and were just OK. The asada tacos were dry and plain. The price is low but what does that matter if the quality is too? read more

There were a steady stream of expats and locals waiting to eat at this small taco place. It encourages BYOB and we saw lots of people bring their own beer and wine. We didn't get any pinto beans that other reviewers had mentioned. We got a tray with three different sauces in squeeze bottles, a side of raw diced onions, and a little handful of tortilla chips. Some pico de gallo or salsa would have been nice to add to the tacos but oh well. So many tacos to choose from but we sampled the beef, pork, fish, corn and pumpkin blossom tacos. We all agreed that the fish tacos were the best. Fish Tacos - (5 stars) The fish was seasoned perfectly and was moist and tender. Pork Tacos - (5 stars) Pork was tender and seasoned with a flavor that reminded me of Chinese pork buns. Beef tacos - (4 stars) Beef was nicely seasoned but a tad dry. Corn Tacos - I liked the flavor of the greens and corn but for only 1 taco. No one else in the family particularly liked it. I suggest you get one first to taste before ordering more. Pumpkin blossom tacos - The overall flavor was like a stewed tomato. Again good for 1 taco but probably not more than that for me. Choriqueso - (3 stars) it's a small bowl of melted cheese with bits of chorizo in it. The first few bites are good with the fresh tortillas when the cheese is really hot and gooey. However the cheese cools and coagulates really fast so it makes it less pleasant to eat like cold pizza cheese. I would skip it next time. Cheese quesadilla- (3 stars) Pretty basic and again cheese coagulates really fast so not good beyond first few bites. Skip it. The atmosphere of the place is cheerful, local, and family run. Live music added to the laid back vibe. You have to wait quite a while for your order because it tastes like things are made to order. We waited over 30 minutes and was fine with that. We saw couples who waited just as long to get their food ahead of us. So please don't get grumpy if your tacos don't come out at Taco Bell speed. Overall we came out full and satisfied. Food tasted fresh and the price was less than McDonald's for our family. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

Very humble restaurant with great food. Mexican prices- think $40 to feed a big family.

One of the best places to go for a great taco that's not a street vendor as this allows you a place to sit! They start you out w/an assortment of taco toppings; onions, salsa, naploletas, and beans ( not refried) in a somewhat lazy Susan fashion. Many choices of meat and on Friday's they have a killer deal on bbq ribs ( reservations required). The tacos are about .60 U each- cannot beat that in their cute intimate seating. Wear bug spray! Place is clean, and service top notch! BYOB as only sodas, water served. read more

Recommended by Canadian snowbirds, exceptionally basic street taco & quesadilla joint with six to eight tables with plastic chairs on first come first serve basis. BYOB, only serves water / soda(s) in bottles. On the Friday night we visited two local musicians performed classic rock / pop hits which added to the ambiance of the relatively open air dining area with open kitchen in which three cooks prepared fresh tortillas and both meat and vegetables fillings. Probably can't find a more affordable sit down meal in Bucerías, the clientele consisted of construction workers taking home dinner after work, tourists, local police officers. The waiter was terrific taking care of our party of six as well as all other diners that evening. Nice authentic and unpretentious simple joint, waiter was able to call his father/uncle for a van ride back to our resort. Highly recommend for what it is!!! read more

Best tacos in town, with choices including squash blossoms and huitacoche as well as the usual suspects. They're served with a round of onions, salsa, and beans. We had to wait a little as they were packed the night we stopped by, so my husband popped back to our house to grab some beer as Tacos Lindas is also BYOB. Highly recommend! read more

Did a quick search and this place showed as having good reviews, so stopped by and was surprised to find a small garage like shop converted into a cozy, family-run restaurant. "Bring your own beer/wine" was the first sign I noticed and you won't find any of that in the menu. What you will find is some really delicious tacos and quesadillas with variety of fillings. The food is prepared fresh, and the service is great. The prices are unbelievably low, but don't let that stop you from trying a few of the tacos. This is as authentic as tacos get! read more

What a wonderful dining experience at this small family run restaurant. Linda's sets a high bar for quality tacos at reasonable prices. We enjoyed an assortment of shredded beef, pork and mushroom tacos. Each were served on the freshest tortillas that I can remember having. We followed other reviewers advice and brought a couple of beers. Save room for their home made Flan. Total dinner was under $8.00 US. Simple, GOOD Mexican food- tacos, quesadillas, etc. No fuss about it. Homemade, fresh tortillas and ingredients. Three vegan options for tacos- corn truffle, mushrooms, and squash blossom. We rented a house almost right across the street (ironically called Casa Linda, but no relationship) and walked by this place many times a day. Only open from 6:30 - 11pm everyday except Sunday (closed), we could see it was constantly packed during open hours. The taqueria is a no-frills operation located in a fenced-in car port with a TV constantly on Latin league futbol matches. With the convenience/ comfort factor of it being located so close to our rental home (and a 4yo who is not exactly restaurant trained), we found it easier to order for take-out on the two nights we had their tacos for dinner. Sat night, after a full day of activities, I went to pick-up food on the later side, and noticed the place was packed full of local Mexican families and couples. Two days later, when I went earlier in the night, it was generally gringos. Although they don't serve alcohol, I noticed that they encourage diners to BYOB (w/ no mention of a corkage fee). Food was EXCELLENT... about $1 US per taco and quite tasty. We tried quite a selection during our stay... chorizo, pescado (fish), taco mixtos w/ champinones y panela (mushrooms and cheese), asada (beef), machacha de pollo (shredded chicken), adobada (pork), huitlacoche (corn), and flor de calabaza (pumpkin blossom). All were delicious in their unique way and we usually got a selection of about 3 salsas plus a crema. Be warned that it seemed if you go later in the evening, the corn and pumpkin blossom may be sold out. At least that was our experience on a Saturday night. read more

We were recently in Bucerias for 10 days. We had food from Tacos Lindas 3 times (once was take out) because we enjoyed it so much. Home cooked food with homemade tortillas and delicious fillings. Also love the plate they bring out with nopales and red onion. The salsas are delicious and they bring a bowl of pinto beans for each person along with the tacos. They don't serve alcohol but they don't mind if you go down the street to buy beer to bring back to the restaurant if you'd like to. Highly recommend! read more

Great tacos at an even better price! We go to Tacos Lindas every time we are in Bucerias and they are our favorite tacos in town (many choices naturally). Their variety allows you to come back often and the spread they bring to doctor them up is fun, we especially love the Nopales! Only warning is BYOB so grab a cerveza and enjoy! read more

Same wonderful tacos at reasonable prices as the ones we had three years ago. The pork, mushroom and pumpkin blossom were all very tasty, and served on freshly made tortillas. However, we had a full one hour wait from the time we ordered until we received our tacos. That is extremely slow service---after considering cultural differences. read more

Tacos Linda's is amazing! This is a little hole in the wall taco place in Bucerias and it is only open in rlthe evening. The server is super friendly and it feels like you are walking into your friend's outside kitchen. The menu is great and has interesting tacos like flower blossom tacos. My husband got a carne asada quesadilla that was delicious. The cheese was perfectly salted and the meat was slightly smoky. so good. Also you can bring your own beer! We got 4 tacos and quesadilla and spent less than 5$, it was a great date and very relaxed. Highly recommended! read more

I would travel back to Mexico to eat here. This became the go to place for us. Each taco was about 30 cents in US at the time. I spent the day organizing around how many tacos I would be able to eat that night. I tried everything on the menu. My favorites were the tacos. The tortillas were homemade. Get an aqua fresca drink too! I would move to Bucarias for the art scene, friendly locals and to eat here all the time. While we were staying just outside Puerto Vallarta, most of our time was spent this direction and away from the tourists. In Bucerias is a bike shop that does food tours on wednesdays. This was a great way to get to know the town. A taxi tide would take five minutes. We preferred to walk the path into the woods and spend 20 minutes to get there. There was a friendly armed guard on the path who at night lit the path for us with his flashlight. This felt dangerous the first time but we really found the locals did not like the tourist reputation of the cartel and truly wanted us to feel safe. They often repeated "this area safe" and similar sentiments to us. We did not see others on this path and it was mostly used by locals. A very friendly family of kuatamundi did beg for food. They were adorable and one even patted me down for treats. read more

Hand made tortillas! Yum! Great for a cheap dinner in town. We tried the whole menu over 3 consecutive days eating there, our 5 y/o kept asking to go back for dinner. He loved the bowl of fresh made beans they give you to start. Our favorites were quesadillas or tacos de chorizo, champiñones and flor de calabaza. Carne asada lacked some flavor. The arrachera platter even though is more expensive it's delicious. AND the aguas frescas were also fresh made with fruit of the day. We highly recommend it. read more

We came in right at 6:30pm when it opened and told owner we had 18 people and he said "no problem" we basically took over the place. We loved the adobada, carne and chicken. Kids loved it. We brought our own beer they did have pop. Cost was about 7.00 per person and we left very full! Place is about 1 bock south of Karen's Place which had awesome ribs by the way! read more
