I should have listened to the other reviews regarding the owner of this place before eating here. I was told that they take credit card here so after eating I asked to pay when I was told that they only accept pesos. I told them that I will leave a possession of mine there while I go get some pesos when the owner, who looked like he's been on a 4 day bender, looked at me and said "you don't want to be on my sh*t list, trust me". He was also loudly criticizing the server the entire time I was there who I thought was doing a good job. The asada burrito I got was nothing special. I've had similar or better in the U.S. at random Mexican restaurants. There are many good restaurants in Sayulita and I would recommend going to them instead. read more

A true staple and a MUST visit lunch spot in Sayulita. There's no shortage of the different types of burritos you can order here but there are also nachos, tacos, and quesadillas to pick from. I think they're very well known for their shrimp burritos - it's so uniquely delicious and on the lighter side for burritos. They fry up the cheese for the shrimp burrito that gets a nice char to it and it's just absolute perfection with lettuce and tomatoes all bundled up in a toasted tortilla. I can eat an entire shrimp burrito in one sitting and leave without feeling overstuffed or gross that you can often feel (in the best way possible) with traditional meat/rice/bean burritos. Definitely check this spot out as it is always popping with patrons - might be a little bit of a wait (compared to the taco stands) to get your food but it is well worth it. Such a great little spot! We sat outside on the street. The service was wonderful! I had a steak burrito and it was so tender. My friends got a carnitas burrito and a carnitas quesadilla. Not sure what happened. I was looking forward to trying this place out! So many GREAT reviews, I wanted to add one of my own. But sadly, I can not. I've been on the toilet for 2 days since eating their tacos. Only thing I can think of causing this would either be the shrimp I ate there or their salsa. Both could've easily made me this sick. On a quest to find the best fish tacos and Burrito Revolution was our next stop. They are on a street just off the main square next to 3 other taco establishments. Like the other taco houses, they have outdoor seating on the street which we opted for. And like the other taco houses, it is quite small with limited drink options. They always have cerveza's so I ordered a Corona. I ordered a beef and fish taco and both were okay in terms of flavour and presentation. My partner ordered the shrimp taco and had to remove shells after she started chewing...not cool. And unfortunately the service was quite slow. Sorry to say but these are not great burritos. Black beans were way undercooked making them too hard and taking up too much mental space as we were eating our burritos (hey, I value my mental space when eating!). The other thing is a weird taste that was either butter/margarine that they use on the tortillas or a funny tasting cheese. Either way, I was sad to have spent a meal eating this burrito when I could have gotten a much better one around the corner from where I live in Oakland. It's possible that the tastes were just not matching with my personal interests but will appeal to most people (judging by the reviews). But additionally, our server (who was maybe the owner) seemed super aloof. The burritos took forever with no updates despite there being barely any customers. He never brought us the drinks we asked for until we reminded him (speaking of drinks the sparking water also made a point to say it was San Pellegrino which it was now which was also annoying). Overall this was a meh experience so I'd recommend passing especially considering there looked like there were a ton of options in the area. read more

Burrito Revolution is one of our "must haves" when we visit Sayulita. The flavors on the arrachera super burrito are absolutely amazing, and they do a great job of portioning and distributing the different ingredients so that you're never getting a mouthful of beans or rice. I am a sauce-aholic, and their sauces are legitimately some of my favorite on earth. They have a spicy garlic cream sauce that I could put on every bite of food I take for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. And the owner is awesome! Every time we have come here, he always takes the time to come and chat with us and make sure everything is perfect with our order. For anyone who has complained about the service; maybe you should look at the vibe you are projecting. Treat people well, and you will be amazed that people will actually treat you well! read more

I've been coming to this place for years since they were at their other location. I love their burritos - the way they mix all the ingredients together so that each bite gives you bursts of flavor. Don't go to Sayulita without getting a burrito from here! And make sure that you try the sauces in the bottles. I prefer the medium one and could put it on anything and enhance the flavor. I see that there are mixed reviews, but to me, their burritos are awesome. Burrito Revolution is a small restaurant in town. Service was fast and easy, you order at the counter and then can sit inside at the small bar or outside at tables. The menu is in Spanish and English. I ordered the shrimp burrito, delicious. My friends got the chicken burrito and the mahi mahi burrito. They also offer tacos and quesadillas which looked really good. But how can you not order a buritto at a place called Burrito Revolution"? I'm giving 5 stars because the food was amazing! BUT I sat down at the bar inside when I first got there because the tables were full. I know for a fact I had sunglasses on when sat down at inside bar. I moved to the table once it opened up, got close to end of my meal and realized I don't know where my glasses were. Pork burritos with Pacifico = awesome. We had pork burritos. I don't know how they prepare the meat but OMG it's a magic trick! We had lunch here the first day they opened for the season. We somehow ended up having dinner there that same night too. Funny how that happens... We sat right outside and just as we sat down a rain squall came thru so I moved the table to be just under the roof/awning. There was a table full of Aussie backpackers next to us so it was interesting to hear them talk about their travels. It was a great night for sure. Eat here. read more
