The birria taco was very juicy, with plenty of meat and greens. The pozole was good, though I've never been crazy about radish and lettuce being added to soups...I feel like it ruins the authenticity of Mexican food, and my friend who's Mexican agrees with that sentiment. Service was excellent here. I would however say Sargent Taco and BMC are better taquerias in the city, but if you're in the west half of the city and aren't willing to travel closer to the core, this place does its job well.

From the outside, you would not expect to find such interesting interior design, delicious food, or friendly staff. Definetly became one of my favourite restaurants in Steinbach, the atmosphere (music and decor) made me feel like I was back in Mexico. I got a burrito, my Mom got tacos (both al pastor), and we each got an authentic bottled Mexican soda. It took almost 30 minutes for my friend and I to be served at the bar. The first time I was here I had the roundhouse mac n cheese. It was good though nothing special, but the poor service definitely cancelled out what was decent food. The second time I came here on a work dinner, where we somehow stuffed almost 20 people on a long table. Service was a lot better, though maybe it was because I was with a large group. I went during poutine week, so I had the Taco Mac n Cheese Poutine. The mac n cheese was actually mac n cheese bites, which was ehh...but I liked the concept! Cheese curds are good, size was generous, and the nacho beef was cooked well and juicy. So to cancel both visits out, I'll leave is as 3.5/5 for now. If I get good service next visit I'll be happy to bump this up to a 4.

I find myself in the NE quadrant of the city a lot, so hearing that BMC opened here really lit me up. Compared to their original location, this place is more modern. Feels a little less authentic, but I didn't mind it at all. The tacos here are still very affordable, but I find their quesadillas even more bang for your buck. I had the chorizo, pastor, and barbacoa quesadillas. All three for $12 total, excellent value! The quality was just as good as the South Osborne location, so you won't be missing anything coming here. Service was excellent here. They have a salsa counter on the side if you wish to purchase ingredients. Highly recommend if you're craving Mexican!
