Tonight was our second time visiting. Max was our game master and he did a nice job of setting the scene for our room. He was super friendly and cheerful! He had a nice balance of letting us struggle through a puzzle before giving us a prompt. The rooms are really immersive and have quite a few unexpected surprises, which is what makes it so fun. We will be back to try some of the other rooms they have.

The puzzles make you think, but the 9 and 11 year olds were still able to help out and didn't feel like it was too hard for them. The puzzles were very hands on, which was very fun. The Montessori kid in me always loves that. The room itself was so cool with a bunch of secrets and secret places hidden around! Really felt like you were in a wizard's toward! Cool lighting, walls, and ceiling. AND a staircase in the room which was awesome! We finished in under an hour (which we were kind of shocked by, because we thought we were taking a long time). The room was so well done with creative and interactive mysteries. It truly felt like we were in a magical room, uncovering hidden clues and surprises. It was so exciting to uncover clues to get closer to completing our mission. The best part is that it was all Harry Potter themed which made it extra magical! We had 1 hr to complete and we escaped in the nick of time! Booking was easy and done online. It was easy to find parking nearby. The staff are super friendly and guide you through everything you need to know. I absolutely loved my first escape room experience! I have done about 25 all over the country and this one did NOT disappoint. A few considerations- be sure to be early. The room starts at your start time! They didn't require us to sign waivers like many places do. We did the Istanbul Gambit room, which I honestly was not stoked about beforehand. It didn't sound like a very interesting theme. But ya'll, I was wrong! Furthermore, this room didn't just ask you to escape, but also to complete a few other goals too. I liked that! The room made great sense and had a lot of neat reveals. The room did feature a combination of old school keys and locks and codes, and more advanced locks and puzzles. There's a lot of surprises in there. Be sure to bring a competent team because this room does not play around as far as difficulty goes. They also offer unlimited hints, so feel free to ask for help if you need it. My only real critique is that when we did ask for one hint at the end, the game master gave us TOO MUCH information. But that's a quibble. Check this place out. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it was great!

We rented Base Camp for an over night lock in for a high school girls basketball program's team…read morebonding event. Setting it all up was so easy! They were quick and responsive and everything was all planned via email which made things so convenient! They were straightforward about what to bring for the lock in. The night of, the girls had fun! Lots of space to run and around and be teenagers. All the girls had games the next day, so they came in and all said something about the temperature, some were too hot and some were too cold. One common thing was if they just had blankets on the floor, they were cold. The other minor thing that could be improved - online waivers. I had to manage all the parent waivers. Overall, a great experience! When we went there was only rock climbing and archery available - that said they got their fill of those activities, so we probably would not do it again next year.
