I just had an interaction with one of your drivers and it was extremely disrespectful and unwarranted. I'm at attempting to pump gas and had just finished pumping my gas and got into my car. One of your drivers was parked behind me. When I tell you I had literally just closed my door and the driver honked at me. I opened my door and said "um you can wait until I'm finished thank you". Then he starts yelling at me and yelling obscenities at me because I wasn't moving fast enough for him apparently. Of course I yelled back because I don't know who he thought he was talking to like that. I'm sorry I just got off of work and I don't deserve that. Sorry if he was having a bad day, but to take it out on me when there were other pumps wide open is just crazy to me. I'll be telling everyone i know about this and how apparently the workers are disrespectful. Never in my life have I felt like a Karen until now. Just called the store to complain and it turns out it was the owner! So if that's how the owner does business or treats a stranger, I'd never call them for a tow or business. read more

Flat tires are a pain in the rear, but knowing a reliable towing company makes the experience more bearable. This was 2nd time in 3 years I called Tactical Towing. They are responsive and reliable! The technician (Braxton J) was onsite at Carlyle Ave. within an hour, coming straight from a tow in East St. Louis. We hadn't had rain in Belleville for 40+ days, but Braxton was greeted by a deluge! Tactical came from Belleville IL to Ellisville MO to take my pickup truck back to Belleville to the dealer. The price was reasonable for the travel, service was friendly and professional, pictures were taken from all angles before loading, and the communication was excellent from a tracking app to a text and pic letting me know my truck had been delivered safely. Would 100% recommend their services and will definitely use them again if I find myself needing a tow to IL. read more

Unfortunately, I had my Honda Odyssey drop dead on me whilst driving on I-64. After pulling over safely, I needed a tow and got lucky in having the guys from Tactical Towing answer my call. They were professional, courteous, and quick in responding. The heat index was over 100 degrees so fast service was much appreciated. Used them twice now over six months to tow cars with flat tires. Very quick response timing to get to the vehicle. Tow truck driver took photos of my car to document status and those were included in the email along with a PDF summary of charges ready to file with my insurance. I was involved in an accident back in May due to a lady running a stop sign, which resulted in my car being totaled. The tow truck driver from Tactical Towing collected my car that same day and accidentally did not get my phone number (not my fault). I was in an out of the hospital the next 2 weeks and seeing 6 different doctors. I literally almost died. The other insurance took 2 weeks to accept liability, my lawyer wanted me to wait until liability was accepted before finalizing anything, including salvaging my vehicle. After given the green light, I called Tactical Towing. Brian answered and was extremely rude about not being able to get a hold of me (again, how is them not getting my phone number my fault? It's not.) and how he wants my car off of his lot. He made me feel terrible and I explained my situation of being in the hospital the past 2 weeks (even though I shouldn't have felt terrible or explained myself) and found a ride to Belleville ASAP, which was inconvenient being 30 minutes away from where I live. My ride and I had to use a GPS to find Tactical Towing because I'm not familiar with its surrounding area. GPS tells us to pull into the parking lot behind the building where there's about 10 vehicles parked. I get out of the car and am looking for the door while my ride pulls out into the street so he can park. Brian walks up to me and scolds me about pulling up behind the building. I apologized to him (even though I shouldn't have) and explained that I'm not familiar with the area so the gps took me to the lot which I thought was a parking lot (I'm sure it's a common mistake). He responds with "Yea? Well most buildings have a front door." Purposely trying to make me feel like an idiot. He's one of those guys. You know, the ones that hate life? By this time, I've about had enough of Brian's crap and I told him that i didn't see a "Do Not Enter" sign. He smugly responded "There is one, but it's when the gate is closed." I turned and looked at the gate we were standing near and said "You mean the one that's open and NO sign is visible?" (This gate was probably his responsibility to keep closed in the first place). He realized how stupid he must look and said "Are we going to go back and forth all day or are we going to sign this waiver for your car?" I responded with "it depends, Are you going to keep being a dick?" He gets red in the face and YELLS "Get the F off of my lot". You see, I am not a woman who quivers or hides when yelled at or disrespected. I did absolutely nothing to deserve this treatment by Brian. Without argument, I turned and started walking back to my ride as he says "Or do you want to start over?". I get into the car that brought me and proceeded to call the shop to report his behavior and Brian answers the phone. "Do you want to start over and sign this paperwork?" (He NEEDED to get my towed vehicle off of the lot). I went inside and signed the paperwork and received no apology from him. Still to this day, 6 months later and a 1 star google review that was posted I have not received an apology from him or the company. Brian may be the owner, who knows? But people like him representing a company is detrimental and I will gladly provide my review to anyone and everyone who will listen. I will not be surprised if one day I see Tactical is out of business by the way I was treated. Still to this day, I wonder what I could have done to anger Brian so badly that he crossed that line of poor customer service. The answer is nothing. I did nothing to deserve that type of service. read more
