They don't have the usual rundown looking lobby to wait or make your payment. No, this is stunning as if I walked into another professional business. Very classy indeed! After that, I received an email and text report of their findings. This was the most thorough report I have ever witnessed from a mechanic! The one trip for an oil change led to two more trips with different 'issues' where I spent a few thousand dollars there in total. On the last trip, they replaced my transmission cooler hoses. The hose was not tightened, therefore, causing ALL of my transmission fluid to leak out. I park on grass, so I never saw the fluid leaking out until it was too late. The mechanic failed to make adequate repairs to my vehicle resulting in my transmission to lock up. I had to have my car towed home because I was driving one day and it just locked up on me. When I called to explain to them it was their fault they just kept saying "I'm sorry, but what do you want me to do?" They would not compensate me or even offer to fix it for free. I was not offered a rental car or any help whatsoever from them. I asked for a copy of their shop liability insurance and was not provided this information. Not to mention all of this happened over a 2 months time span. My jeep has run fine for 6 years and a month after I took it to them, I am without a car. After I got it out of the shop the last time, they called me to assure me everything was fine and stated no safety features were messed up. They have manipulated me, used me, and taken my service for granted. Again, do not use Pickens Auto Repair. Please take your money elsewhere!!!
