My six year old loves taking TaeKwonDo classes here. He is still a white belt but will be tested…read morethis week to get his yellow belt. He has learned so much in the last two months of taking classes. We come twice a week, Monday and Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. If you miss one of those days, they have a make up class on Saturday mornings. They have several different classes to get into, the starting age is 5yr old. They have a family class that you can take with your children as well. This location also has a Demo Team and Sport Poomsae! They all compete with Master Kim's help and guidance. Master Kim is a 7th Dan Black Belt in the traditional Korean martial art of Taekwondo. He has a Master of Arts degree in Physical Education and Teaching, specializing in Taekwondo. He is also has a degree in physical education and teaching! He is exceptionally talented. They offer different specials here too. When we came in it was $49.99 for the first month and it came with the uniform. Kind of like a trial before you spent the full amount on something. My son ended up loving it, so we signed up for a full year. They automatically withdraw the payments which is nice, one less thing to worry about. Stephanie up front is great and very knowledgeable. We really like her! They are also very patient with my 3 year old. shes not old enough to take the class yet but they allow her to stand close to the entrance, and let her follow along. Shes still not able to concentrate and focus enough to do the class, but its nice they let her see what they're doing. She only follows along for maybe 5 min but its a start. She'll be more than ready once she turns five.

My child loves this place…read more The Little Tigers program at Master Hong's is a super fun, well structured, and non-monotonous taekwondo class for kids ages 4 to 6. (They have classes for children, teens, and adults as well.) It's a half hour packed with action for the kiddos. I like that it is fast-paced, so little ones - like mine - don't have time to get too distracted, and they are definitely not bored. Master Hong, Master Lee, and the third Master (whose name I am not sure of!) are terrific. I see each Master as an excellent, caring teacher, encouraging strength and respect in the children. They have stretching exercises and fun, varied activities as well as lessons on techniques - stance, punching, kicking... I see this as definitely improving my child's motor skills and agility as well as building her esteem and self confidence... And respect for others. She's doing better with listening and following instruction/obedience. Most importantly, she's happy, exercising, and learning something new that she really enjoys. The facility is clean and well organized. Meeting with Master Hong to discuss programs before we attended a class immediately put us at ease and he understood any special concerns/accommodations we had. We are happy to support Master Hong and enroll our child here. The place has a great vibe. The kids all seem happy. And many have awesome skills!!

He is 4, has a very hard time sitting still, is very playful & is easily distracted (but he really does want to do well.) All the master instructors & assistants are patient, lead by example & go above & beyond for my son. Master Jin however, is my son's favorite & has truly made an impression on us! He engages with him, motivates & influences him to focus & succeed by acknowledging his needs & helps him build confidence in the best way possible! He is a great leader! They are all very skilled great leaders & are playful with the little tigers, which makes the class fun for the kids & parents to watch. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely!

It's a very empowering, nurturing and playful environment for the kids. It of course gets a little more serious for the older groups but for the littles they have so much fun and learn respect, focus and get good exercise while they are out it. Their warmth is infectious and all kiddos are uplifted when they leave.
