I've found that it's so rare to find a restaurant that ticks all of the boxes, usually you either have good service and average food or great food and poor service. Not at Quality Tandoori. The food is excellent. I think they quite possibly have the best curry that I've ever had. I'm not overly adventurous with my food so I haven't tried a wide selection of their dishes but what I have tried is wonderful. The service is outstanding too. The waiters just can't do enough to help you. The service is never slow and it's always friendly, what more could you ask for? I've been going there for about a year now, once or twice a month and whenever I go in I'm always greeted with a friendly hello, how are you and recently they even brought us out complimentary starter. Not only is the food and the service good but the restaurant is very comfortable and very nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

There are some staples there but the food changes based on what they cooked that day; thats part of the charm and also I bleiev ewhy the food is better than one of those places that does every dish you can think of on demand, out of the freezer and badly. As the other reviewer said its a local institution and seems to get plenty of business.

It's a deli style Indian take away serving traditional North Indian and Pakistani food based on their hand-me-down family recipes. And there really is nothing like their grandmas cooking! If you want a decent curry in London you usually have to be prepared to pay the price, but here I think they're very reasonable, with medium portions starting at £5 and the large portions from around £7. Although I'm not sure if they warrant the 'large' label as they're just a regular take away size, and if you only order one each then there's definitely none to save for breakfast. My favorite is their oven baked fish masala, the sauce is so super fresh and flavoursome that it really is mouthwatering. They also do a good selection of Indian teas, the Ayurverdic is particularly complimentary, and I wouldn't have considered taking tea after a curry, but it washes them down surprisingly well. So for a Friday night you should really consider swapping your usual take away for a Majjo's.

Kiplings were able to seat us quickly - perhaps a sign of what was to come. I can't tell if it's my food tastes or the cookery that have altered over the years. Despite really loving this place back then, I did not enjoy my dinner here at all in the slightest. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't tastyl. The food was too oily, bland, and lacked any omph. My salmon starter had lots of small bones in it, and was oily. The boy disliked the vegetarian dish that the waiter strongly recommended he order over his original choice - again it was needlessly oily. Dad didn't comment either way on his food. The ambiance was a bit dead for my liking, but they did play midi versions of popular Hindi songs Woop. Plus most seriously of all they tricked us with the After Eights. We thought they'd kindly given us an extra one and it was just an empty shell of a packet. The cruelty! I've come out of Kiplings feeling distinctively unhealthy, and slimier that a Florida oil slick.
