I was here after the game... place was a mess... total meltdown mode.... drunk folks everywhere and staff that were obviously very very "over it". We all ordered some beers and each ordered from the apps menu as that's all that was available. Lumpia, Nachos and some Wings that had a side of fries. Service is bad here and it's not even busy...tops 25 people in the location. About 5-6 servers and took us 8 mins to be greeted and than another 5 mins for a blue moon beer. Even the table next to us we're upset they been there an hour and a plate of wings took forever to come out..We drank our beer and left. Can't even imagine on game day how worse this place will get. Waitress seemed annoyed we showed up. Maybe 6 other people at the restaurant. Waitress was unable to answer basic questions about the menu. Asked her how much a shot cost and she said "I'm sorry, I don't know". No offer to check the price or take an order. Was told food was "almost out" staring at 30 minutes post order. Asked about appetizers 45 minutes post order and waitress said "oh you wanted those first?" Food for half the group came out at 1hr 15 min from order.... the last plate was set down 20 minutes later. 7/10 orders were incorrect and waitress made no offer to correct and became angry when we asked for the correct food, toppings, etc. (Literally brought out nachos w jalapeños, sour cream and onions that were requested to be left off.... in the end had no time to correct order and only gave him 20% off after telling him to pick off what he didn't want.) Members of our party had to go retrieve ketchup after 3 requests and no ketchup. Same for checks... after waiting 10 more minutes had to go on and ask manager for checks/cards back. This sports bar is near blue Lot 10 of AT&T stadium in Arlington TX. It is easily within a short walking distance from that parking lot. We got there about an hour before kickoff and it was nearly empty. This is because it was packed and busy earlier and then people had begun to move out and walk to the stadium. It is a very well decorated (Dallas Cowboys) sports bar and therefore it was fun to sit at one of the bars and completely immerse into sports related discussions and get your drink on before going to the game. The pricing of the drinks/beer was still more expensive than your standard sports bar outside of the complex. This was more than made up by extremely friendly and entertaining bartenders. There were 4 of us and our goal was to get in there and have a few drinks before the game. We accomplished that and walked over to the stadium and watched the game. I will go back to Tailgate Tavern during my next trip to AT&T stadium. read more

Nice location and pretty building. Food however is very average. I think next time, I will for sure just eat at the stadium. We had the chips and queso and the queso was just that weird yellow nacho cheese. No flavor whatsoever. Chips were fried in house and really greasy. It looked like they got the regular colored chips and just refried them. The salsa was nothing to get excited about either. We also had the slider appetizer and they were really good. My sister had a cobb salad and it look horrific. She said it wasn't bad, but the ham was really fatty so she didn't eat any of it. After our day touring the Stadium we were famished and had no intentions on spending 10$ for nachos a la Jerry. Walked across the Walmart parking lot to Tailgate Tavern. Now this was an odd time of day 3pm so too late for lunch but too early for the night crowd. Having said that i had good munchies and a drink to my liking. Check out the Cowboys insignia EVERYWHERE very cool. Service-5- I didn't catch his name but this whole place had one man running the show... literally... poor guy had maybe 12 people at the bar then us and 10 other people in the dining area... which if he didn't have to come out from behind the bar 52 times i'm sure it would have been fine but i' was watching him sweat as he buzzed around the room. Tailgate Tavern is the ultimate sports bar My buddies and I came here before a Rangers game. (We met the owner, which is always cool.) There are big screen TV's everywhere. If you want to watch sports, this is the place to go! They have free WIFI for checking your fantasy stats and scores on your phone. They even had a bus that took us to Rangers game and picked us up from the game. This was awesome! My experience was so great that my fantasy football league is having our live draft here on the 100" projector screen tomorrow! Tailgate Tavern has a super friendly staff and they make you feel at home. Closed this place down on a week night....a throwback to my younger years. Our waitress Ashley/Danielle took stellar care of us, all 16 of us. The night started with 100 oz. tubes of beer and ended with, what else, shots. The food was typical pre-game bar food but the plates were piled high and served hot. Let me start from the beginning, I have been looking for a part time job and saw the post on Facebook and applied. I received a message yesterday requesting I come in today 10/01 from 10-5 and also provided a phone number without a name. This morning I text the nameless number verifying the time to come in. I get there around 10:03 and the only person there was a window washer who thought I worked their. I text the nameless number advising that I have arrived but all doors were locked and asking if there is an alternate entrance I need to come in. A minute or two later nameless number calls me and says "Hello" I say hello back then he says "this is Mario who is this," I said this is Jazmin I was told to come in to interview he said he was across the street, I also attempted to tell him that his window washer was there however he had disconnected on me. Nameless number now Mario was most definitely not across the street because he did not show up until about 10:20, he greeted the window washer pleasantly and looked at my confused and annoyed and did not ask if I was there to interview so I had to greet him and advise that I was there to apply. He said okay unlocked, opened up the door and walked right on in and did not hold the door for me at all. He turned off the alarm and turn on the lights saw I was still there and looked at me as if he was disappointed that I was standing inside and then asked if I wanted an application to fill out, a bit of a silly question for a manager to ask after we have already established I am there for the interview they asked me to come in for. Mario then get an application asked if I needed a pen and I advised him I did not need one saw my resume and I told him it was and he took it. At this point I know my presence is not wanted however I drove 20 minutes so figured I might as well fill it out and leave, Mario was on the phone the full 20is minutes it took for me to fill out the resume and very time he walked by me looked bothered I was still there, so at this point I was ready to just finished and walked out. However right as I finished Mario walked up and was not on my phone and asked if I was ready I told him yes, he begins to look over my application the first thing he says to me was "why did you drop out of college." First off be phrased that question in the most absurd way and I want to state a fact. I did not drop out, I was blessed to have my first and currently only child who I thank God for every single day, I completed two full years but needed to work full time, I did not drop out I made a life style change. So moving on I did not like they say he asked so I simply responded by saying "I had a child." He then asked why I left my job at Home Depot I advised because I had a better job opportunity elsewhere, he then looks at my current job asked what they place was called and I told him. At this point he tells me he hasn't looked at my resume, the one I handed him 20 minutes ago, and asked what I did there and I provided my job title. He again tells me he has looked at non of my previous info (included the application I submitted on Facebook) and asked the position I was applying for I advised I had applied for server/bartender, he asked if I had any experience I said not completed I just started training at my current position. He heard the word bartender and made a weird face and said they require their bartenders to have at least 15 years of experience, so I told him thank you and that I was going to head out. At this point I'm thinking finally I can leave this situation, I could tell I wasn't wanted and not to mention the dirty bar top I was filling out application on (also a strong part of me feels this man is racist). As I am leaving Mario decided to say to me "did you really expect to get a bartending job with no experience," at this point I am completely confused as to why anything was even said. I'm not wanted and apparently don't have the experience so at this point he is just antagonizing me, so I chose to ignore his question because I do not want to argue. He continued saying ma'am louder and louder so I turned around and I responded by saying "I am not sure how you've continued to run an establishment speaking to people the way you do." I think he was surprised by my response and with an attitude said what did you say, louder and louder following me as I am walking out so I turned around and said "you have a blessed day," he said what so I repeated myself "you have a blessed day" and he continued to say what and at this point I am just wanting to be done so I started ignoring him but he followed me out of the building. At this point I am incredibly uncomfortable and I tell him "leave me alone" and walk faster to my car. He finally stopped and I heard Mario mutter something about me being unemployed and not having experience, but at this point I don't care, I was just glad I made it to my car without him being next to me. I'd passed by this place on many occasions, and by chance I ended up there with a few friends during a Mavs Finals game. Quite honestly, it was the best sports bar I've been to. The staff was awesome, the atmosphere was great, and the food was good too. They also have some awesome drink specials...$2 Bud Light and Miller Light drafts when I was there. I'm definitely going back, and if you have the opportunity, you should definitely give the place a try. I don't think I can say enough about this place. They have PLENTY of TVs if that's a concern. The name is deceiving, it has the the word tailgate in its name BUT does not allow you to tailgate in the $150.00 parking space you purchase! When the security person came out to tell us we couldn't tailgate in our spot we purchased, we were, needless to say, shocked. We asked why, he did not give an explanation. He just said "you just can't". We said ok but we're trying to figure out what we're going to do with all the food & beer we'd brought to consume under the assumption we'd be able to tailgate at "Tailgate" tavern! Side note...there was no indication on the purchase sight that tailgating was not allowed! Long story short, we were rudely told by 2 other "employees" that they would be calling authorities to have us removed if we didn't leave on our own. I get it, if it's something that they have to enforce due to liability issues with the city but people need to know this before purchasing a ridiculously expensive parking space, which is the reason for this post and rant! Don't waste your money to park here on game days for cowboys games, can't even tailgate in their parking lot that you spend an astronomical amount of money on to park at? Nowhere when the parking pass was purchased in advance did it say no alcohol or no tailgating of your own, instead you have to pay $30 for their food/one beer combo, which I wouldn't waste money on. Wings weren't bad. The sweet waitresses have to put up with managers who are rude and don't know how to manage. We were sat at a table before a Cowboys home game, we even shared a large high top with two other folks so as to not tie up another table. (6 total at table) We had two rounds of drinks and ordered apps. The owner comes in and says we have to go because the table was reserved, although there was no sign on the table, plus we were sat by the hostess there. 1. Train your staff better to not make those types of mistakes 2. Probably shouldn't ever kick paying customers out of a table. 3. If you tell us you will knock off 50% of our check to give up the table, don't bring back the bill with a 10% reduction and argue semantics of food vs alcohol sales. Horrible Horrible experience every time !! Every time there's a big event at AT&T Stadium I pay for parking here. Before we go we have dinner and a few drinks. Every time it takes an hour to get the food and there's always short on service. Tonight the bartender was not only working the bar but she was also working every table in the restaurant alone. Mario is the owner of the restaurant and all he did was criticize the manager which was also the bartender and the waitress of every table in the restaurant. How about managing the place better and having people show up on days where there is a large event going on. You can't say you don't know because you're silly parking spots ! The food is nothing special in the management is horrible. I don't know how else to give it a whirl's review. After waiting an hour for my food I just requested the check and had to go over to AT&T Stadium and buy dinner for my family at four times the price. No, just because the night we were there we were literally the only customers in the place. Granted this was in March; no sports going on at either The Ball Park or Jerry World. So my wife and I saw this place before the Alabama-Michigan game this year as an oasis in a barren pregame landscape. We showed up at 11:30am. There were already about 100 people standing around saying they were not open. No news, no nothing. So we waited at a table till they "opened". You had plenty of bar girls walking around outside, moving ice, etc, but none would talk to anyone, answer with anything beyond "we are not open" or blank stare. One guy suggested selling just beers, since it was near 100 degrees, and she laughed and kept walking. One guy come out from inside and said the tavern was $25 before you could even order a beer. Some sort of tailgate event for the game going on. No signs, no announcement, no MANAGER came outside. After 15 minutes, we left when the crowd started getting rowdy. This place was perfect, except they sold no food or beer or customer service before noon. Booooring.
