Eventually, to a lot of Groomers and I have to say this is my favorite grooming salon ever. The level of professionalism never fails. My dogs are comfortable there and every groomer in there does a fantastic job. I want to thank them for a special attention to my fur babies and always helping me out if I'm in a time crunch. I had never been here but walked in to get my Scooby's nails cut today (as another customer came out saying he was great with nails). I told him I needed nails done, he grabbed my dog, got him on a table immediately, started drummeling his nails, had a coworker come help when my dog got a little feisty (which is why I can't do them), and boom, done...$15! Awesome! Quick, easy, and way less scary for my dog than when I try with clippers at home. I absolutely recommend this place! You do need an appointment for anything more like bathing though! I would recommend the grooming for your poochies at this business, as had a great experience with them for several years, however, I had posted a review 5 years ago over a bad experience I had had with one of the groomers, (who has since moved on) and when the owner spotted it 5 yrs later he called & wanted me to rescind the old post but I could not due to the fact of the posting's age. He got upset and told me if I could not remove the post I need not return! I've always felt any business needs to know the good & bad experiences of their Clients as that is how you improve your business! Plus I was always taught in business - The Customer is always right. I took my little one year old LhasaPoo, Gidget, to them on the recommendation of our veterinarian. She was entered in a big doggie fashion show fundraiser for the Lake County Humane Society the next day, so I hoped they could make her look really good. I wasn't sure what to expect as she'd only been groomed once before and looked like a real "ragamuffin". They took my little tomboy puppy and turned her into a beautiful, runway-ready young dog! I was so pleased with the transformation which resulted in my puppy being named queen of the fashion show. I'm stunned at the bad reviews given here by other people. All I can say is that I have had an excellent experience with Tailwagger's for 7 years. I've been taking my little rescue dog, who is part Chihuahua and part Papillon, since she was a baby. She is a rescue pup and she has anxiety and is afraid of people she is not familiar with. She sees the same groomer every single time, and she does fine. When I pick her up, she looks very cute and nicely groomed, even her nails. I have nothing negative to say about Tailwagger's at all. I think they have done an excellent job with my little nervous doggie, and I give them thanks for their patience with her. You won't hear anything negative from me here. read more

I honestly have no clue where the previous remarks came from! My little Maltipoo has been going to Tail Waggers for over 2 years. They are the best groomers in the area! Very friendly staff and the "owner" cut my cats claws on the spur of the moment! Is this service or what! This was the go to place for our pet. But new staff has dogged us and has caused us to "flea". Our dog came home looking like another breed. He had an open wound in the area where he was neutered that was not there when he left 3 hours earlier. The young lady that performed the cut was not customer service oriented nor could she be nominated for cut of the year on a shar pei. read more

Moved up from Kissimmee in May, tried two groomers one was Tailwaggers. As stated in a couple of reviews we did find the owner to be a bit distant. Interaction with people is an art form to a degree. As far as the groom went on our Maltese it was only ok, no WOW factor that has encouraged us to use them again. We are trying another shop today to see if they can live up to the reviews. If not we will take him back to Petco, yes, Petco at the Loop in Kissimmee where Melanie has been the best groomer yet!!!! read more

This place must have been good at some point, or the vets are getting kickbacks as I too was sent here by my vets recommendation. Tried him twice, anyone can have a bad day, so I gave the benefit of the doubt and returned. Same as above, don't listen, cut the way they want. After the 2nd visit my dog had razor burns all over his private area. Also when we were coming in for the pickup for the 2nd visit, there was a full blown screaming match going on in the back. Obviously some problems going on here internally. When I mentioned all this to my vet, he said to me, "really, i send people there all the time, never heard a complaint". After reading the other post, seems to me that is kind of hard to believe. I had 2 bad visits and they were too similar to the other post to be coincidence. Do your dog a favor and take him someplace else. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I called this groomer on a recommendation from my vet. I had just adopted a handsome pom and they said to take him there for a great service. The gentlemen who worked there tried to convince me to make my dog look like a teddy bear. If I wanted a bear or a lion I would of bought a stuffed animal. I took him there on the day of his appointment. He was there for THREE HOURS. When I picked him up I asked what they did to him, I said just a trim, his ears, paws, and all around. His ears were not done. I said that is what I paid for and they took him back in and did a quick chop job on him. He looked like a three year old took scissors to him. I called when I got home because I didn't have their number and couldn't see everything until I got home. I spoke to the gentlemen and he said to bring him back, I live about a half hour away and said that was not going to happen today. I said that the next time I was in Leesburg I would come and get my refund and he said that was fine. When I called today to inform them that I would be coming tomorrow to get my refund the gentlemen called me back informing me "not to bother" coming in for my refund because I had not brought the dog back in the next day so he could see what HE had done to my dog. He was extremely rude stating that everything I said was incorrect and that he had washed my dog himself and did all the work (he was not bathed, it smelled like they sprayed his tail and that was all.) Over all the experience was horrible! Another lady that was there when I picked up my dog said that she wouldn't be returning either! It seems the only thing this place might be good at is shaving, but if your dog needs to be trimmed with scissors or you actually want your dog bathed, go somewhere else. read more

I have been a customer at Tailwaggers for an extended period of time and generally the customer service was appropriate. On my last visit I asked where a long term groomer was and the employee told me that she went on vacation and emailed them the second day and told them she would not be back, my response was " alot has changed since they moved to this location". On my way home I received a call from one of the owners, Dan and he said to me " I understand you have a problem, you told my employee that things have changed". I spoke with Dan and I restated what I had said to the employee that alot has changed since they moved to this location, Dan told me "no, we have had two of the employees for 2 years and " I told Susan not to come back, she didn't quit". Dan also told me :you do not need to bring your dogs back here anymore. The behavior displayed by the owner of this business was unprofessional and not a display of good customer service. I will not return to this business for service and I cannot recommend friends and fellow employees to utilize this business for dog grooming and baths. read more
