As it turns out I was underinsured for my car insurance and was able to pay the same amount with erie for a policy that covered me 12x the amount my old company was offering. For the same items of my home insurance I also saved about $200 switching to erie. The Saturday I hit a dear on 476 and totalled my truck, I called Greg and by the time the tow truck dropped me off at my house my claim had been started, and Greg told me where I could pick up my rental car. She said to come back when it was due and she would go over everything and see what she could do. He returned about 2 weeks ago with the policy info that came and she was not there. He left it with a gentleman who said he would go over it and give him a call. My husband returned about week later since he had not heard from him. He waited awhile as the man was on the phone speaking Spanish with someone. When he got off the phone he said he could not find the paperwork but gave a high quote with no explanation of what it covered. My husband told him to find the paperwork and he would return for it. Several days later he stopped in for the paperwork. The man told him the cleaning lady probably threw them away. What kind of business keeps personal information out for everyone to see and the cleaning staff goes threw it and throws it away? This agent thought nothing of this no apology, just didn't care.
