While other auto shops require a fee for evaluation, Dave's automotive provided it free and even wrote up a very thorough inspection of my suspension. While I did not need to fix the findings immediately, I feel good about utilizing Dave's in the future. Another plus is how nice and upbeat everyone is from pick up/send back service to the service specialist. That speaks volume to the business when their employees are noticeably happy!

His answer was five dollars for the notary and $10 for I don't even know what but he says it was up to his discretion. So what that meant to me is he just made up any price which I think is pretty high for one page to be notarized. So if you want spend a surprising amount of money for one page you go see him if not, find someone else.

The atmosphere is old school, authentic, and has an American small business swagger. The interior feels like an artifact, it looks like 1970s movie set--wood paneled walls frame the room, and the smell of a hard earned dollar permeates the air. A variety of license plates, and a mix of local newspaper articles featuring the owner's museum of miniatures (museum is located a block away) - are displayed salon style on the wooded walls. The owner has been doing title transfers longer than I've been alive, in other words he knows his stuff. He helped me with all the paperwork, and even lent me the tools to take off my old license plates. Another helpful detail I noticed, was that one of the staff members was bilingual, so if you speak more Spanish than English they've got you covered! Overall going here to do a title transfer was a great idea. I highly recommend!!
