Stop at Take 5 yesterday (09/02/25) to wash my car around 11:15am. The sign out front stated they were "CLOSED" due to the weather. Um it was 84 with clouds. No rain or flooding. No one was around. Also. three times I have used this car wash. Pulled up to the attendant and twice they only spray the driver's side of the car. I joined thinking I would get "Great Service". Nope I'm cancelling. Get a better wash at the gas station and its cheaper. read more

Monday 7/14/2025 at 10:30am. I pulled up to the car wash lane and no one came out, so I stopped and waited. An employee, wearing a bucket hat, came up moving his arms all around asking me if I could read. He showed me a sign that says wait here, which I did not see because it was off to the side and as you pull up, all your attention is focused on lining up the rack. He proceeded to really give me a hard time and called me all kinds of names, which I respectfully called him back. Bottomline, he was rude and without remorse for giving a hard time about not seeing a sign off to the side. Here's a tip little guy, place the sign in the middle of the lane. i have gave them a second chance and i know why i stop yhe first time . i had two monthly subsciptions . the car comes out wet and soap is still on the back of it .tire buffer has not worked in the last three times i have gone though . the vacuum doesnt have enough sucktion to pick dirt up off the floor mates read more

I'm a membership holder and today is one of the few things I've seen in the last 2 months of using this car wash that alarmed me, and having me question if I should cancel or not. The vacuums hardly ever work properly. Suction is bad. Today I went in for a wash, and got some soap on the car.. no rinse, no spraying, NO DRYER. Just dripping soap as I go through and had to go back through a 2nd time. The line wasn't moving for 10 minutes. As I pull into the wash it has me on the belt and stops for 5 minutes. Sitting there stuck everyone's running around frantic, then it picks back up again. The person at the first spray hose had me in close to another truck. As we get to the end of the car wash all of a sudden the truck in front of me isn't moving but my car is. I was not able to stop and it started to PUSH ME INTO THE VEHICLE. Thankfully no damage. Our bumpers had bumped and I'm quite frankly appalled and upset as an attendant was right there witnessing it and walked away. Idk if I'm keeping my membership, this place has had vehicle accidents inside before, and it just doesn't feel safe to use. read more

I been waiting for a resolution for what happened at this carwash!! My car was hit from the front and the back caused by something falling in front of the car in front of me. The worst service ever. There machines scratched my new car. I talked to the manager about filing a claim. I filled three formal complaints and nothing happened. They don't respond. BEWARE using your credit card here. I had ONE $16 wash on March 13. Have never been back. Wash was fine, I've just been out of town. Exactly one month later, (while I was OUT OF TOWN WITH MY CREDIT CARD) this company had the temerity to charge my credit card ANOTHER $16 on April 13. They don't answer their phones and they don't respond to messages. Holding onto a customer's credit card number without authorization is ILLEGAL. I've already contacted my attorney about this. Do not use this place. Especially do fall into the trap of doing a monthly subscription with them. Regardless of what their facility is like or how clean they can get your scooter, try cancelling your subscription and you will run into a headache. I cancelled two accounts with them 2 months ago. Even have the email from their processor telling me it was cancelled. Yet I've been charged the last two months and still no response from them after I've tried getting it straightened out. I've never been to such a terrible car wash. Every aspect of the experience (my car remained dirty on every side, soap left on my car and all the other customers' cars, broken dryers, only 1 attendant who was blank) was worse than any other car wash I've ever visited. This business bought Pure Clean Car Wash which was excellent. All the other customers with whom I talked shared my assessment. At this Nashville Highway location, Johnathan (who says he's manager) kept trying to get me to sign up for the promotion. After I told him that I didn't want to right now and my reasonings, I was then told that my only options were $22 and $23 car wash. I told him I am able to press more washes when I'm doing it by myself and picking the $10 wash and that's what I wanted to do. He told me that it was going to work, and they were doing a study and trying to take it off.. at this point I wasn't listening because I knew he was lying. I felt bombarded and lied to and cheated out of my husbands hard earned money. I will not return to this location and my husband will know about what happened and will not be happy either. Another time before this, I went here and Johnathan was at the kiosk, he was telling me about the promotion and gave me a card to scan which sent me to the review page. The person who upsold me to a membership was trained to misrepresent the terms of the membership. You can't cancel "anytime up to the day it renews", you have to cancel 7 days before that. It's obviously a business model choice and I'm kicking myself for letting the nice lady talk me into it. dThe car wash itself is mediocre. The "free" vacuums and car care station is cool. Only reason for giving 3 star is because the wheel brushes at the end are always filthy. They actually make my rims dirtier. Also, one of the brushes will scratch your passenger take light. Other than than that in clean your vehicle good. And the vacuums work really well. Facility is new and clean. read more

Unsure of why this place received such horrible reviews. I've been to a few places here in McKinney since moving here and this is our favorite one. There is NO foul water smell like someone previously mentioned. They actually spray down the vehicle before going through the wash. And the place is always clean. The only negative thing I can say, but that includes all carwashes in Texas, is I wish they had pre scrub stations so you can scrub the front and back of your car before the wash.(That's how all ours were in Louisiana) But come to find out its a waste of water supply here. read more

After going here I realized my license plate was bent up. It was flush to the cars trunk. Now it is folded out 3-4 inches. It's not ruined but it's something that shouldn't happen or be a concern when going thru a car wash. read more

This is an outstanding combination of a quality exterior car wash and a self service area for the inside of your car. We had two vehicles that we drove during the ice storms early in the month. Took both through hear at $10 each and the exteriors were perfect. Did not investigate their unlimited plans, but they had some at just $14 per month. read more

Was going here when they opened and it was a good wash for $10, not anymore. The car is always soaking wet when I'm done, no towels provided to dry it off. The best wash they have for $14 includes tire shine...they are barely done. The vacuums are weak and barely pick anything up. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I suggest you do NOT go to fabulous car wash!!! This location at Custer and 380. I have been a couple of times with no problems but this last time the bristles or whatever scratched my car. I have no time in my life to make something like this up and am the most honest person you will ever meet. The owner Charles was a complete jerk and basically called me a liar. First words out of his mouth were "it's impossible for me to scratch only half the car". It's a VERY large scratch. My husband also filled out an incident report on Saturday and no one even called back. I had to go up there this morning to even get a response!! Not Fabulous at all. This was my go to when I needed a quick car wash. $14 best wash, $10 and $6 options pretty reasonable. Of late, this place has fallen off. Not sure if they are planning on closing down and just running through their inventory. Car comes out with all types of streaks and spots, still dirty, not dry at all, vacuums not working. What's going on?? There are other car washes opening all around, so not sure if they plan on closing. If not, they need to turn it around. Fix whatever inside needs fixing to provide a better wash and fix the vacuums. Add a little personal touch by adding towels and cleaning bottle (like others in the area). read more
