I am a Yelper so I came home & looked them up, considering we're only needing oil changes, we were satisfied with the reviews. I took it in myself (senior female), they have you drive it up on the ramp & you stay in your car while they perform the oil change & other various service checks. They do offer other services that seemed fairly priced, nothing major, things like filters & a/c service. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the young man that helped me & I actually appreciated the fact that you sit in your car while they do the work, a little reassurance that they are indeed doing the service checks as well. The price was up to par with what we pay in Henderson & they are quick! I was told they would pull the code themselves and that it could be several things but they would do some tests to rule things out and narrow down to the issue. I wanted to make an appointment, but he said to just come down in the morning. We went the next morning and after waiting over an hour for the car to get into the shop, they said they found the same code I had shared with them the previous night and that I needed to take it to a dealer. I reminded him that they said they would run tests to rule things out and he lied to my face and said he never said that! I knew then Tire Works was scamming me and wanting me to buy parts I did not need. I drove away quickly. I then took my truck to Brake Masters. They did a complete computerized front-end alignment and I DID NOT need any ball-joints.
