I took my two sons (10&12) during our recent stay to learn how to shoot properly( they've done twice before) but i was never fully secure about their previous experience. Well now i am! Mike was our instructor and he was excellent. Strict but a natural teacher. The boys listened attentively during the nearly 45 minute lesson. They understood from Mike that while shooting at targets is a fun pastime safety is everything and without knowing the many potential dangers they wouldn't be permitted to shoot. Mike tested them and happily answered our questions until the time he felt they were ready to shoot. And off they went to the range confident in their new found skills. They still can't stop speaking about their great teacher Mike and we would recommend you all try learning the right way. Mike is a skilled marksman and excellent educator. The Take Aim facility was clean and very well maintained with a friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot. We'll be back on our next vacation. A++ for Mike. read more

Take Aim Shooting Range is best in class. The staff are welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. Their trainings and gun safety classes are exceptional. Pete Quinn was the instructor at the class I attended, and he is the consummate pro. He is retired law enforcement and heavily credentialed in the field. I recently decided that I'd like to purchase a gun. It's been a long time since I've held or shot a gun. So My husband and myself started with the concealed carry class offered at Take Aim. Peter Q was the instructor. He was informative and knowledgeable. His patience made me feel comfortable once we were at the shooting range from loading the gun, your stance, breathing, and taking aim to shoot! I am a recent member that shoots once a week, or more. I do enjoy shooting at Take Aim. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is clean. I usually shoot with my business partner, who is also a member. Although our competition is fierce, we find shooting is a way for us to wind down after a long work day. I wanted a gun experience for my 3 sons and myself, so after a brief telephone call we booked a 60min lesson with Mike (firearms instructor) and the team which was excellent. Amazing experience! My dad and I went to take Aim for our first time shooting and it was great. We took a one hour beginners training from instructor Mike and we learned +- 15 minutes all the basics to be able to have a proper go at their range. We shot with a handgun and a rifle. The staff at this range is Great, Ron, Peter and the whole Team at take aim are both helpful and know there product. The range is well lit and monitored for the safety of all patrons.
